Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 The Summoning Gambit (2)

The tiger and the lion didn't make a move and patiently waited for their friends' arrival. Neither does Naruto; in fact, he even sits down on the ground with his right elbow on his knee and his chin resting on his right palm, waiting for the others' arrival.

The tiger and lion were annoyed by the action of Naruto but couldn't do anything about it since their instinct was screaming at them to run, but their ego didn't allow them to do it.

They weren't mindless beasts who always listened to their instinct but someone with intelligence, and while they knew that the child in front of them was dangerous without a shadow of a doubt, they still believed in the prowess of their friends' combined attacks.

Naruto saw in their eyes how they were planning to kill him, but he doesn't care since he was going to use this fight as an opportunity to use the unknown energy within him and not the chakra.

While many would think this was a stupid idea since it was his first fight, Naruto doesn't care; as long as he can do whatever he wants, he doesn't care about the consequences of his actions.

Naruto is truly baffled by the unknown energy, and aside from the fact that this energy was needed to activate his three innate techniques, he doesn't know about its effect in the battle or if the usage of this energy is similar to chakra.

It was a huge mystery for Naruto, and something he wanted to explore to form an answer.

The mystery greatly intrigued him, and he wanted to dissect the mystery into pieces and form his own conclusion. He will do whatever it takes to answer the mystery in front of him.

After waiting for a while, a dozen tigers and lions combined arrived in the area at the same time despite the fact they came from different directions.

"What's the situation?" asked one of the lions, who is slightly bigger than the first lion Naruto met.

The lion then explains about what happened. The tigers start discussing themselves and instead silently listening to the lions since the enemy they had to fight wasn't each one of them but the human child itself, who was staring at the summoning animals without care of dangers.

"I see..." The lion, who seems the leader of the group, stared at the leader of the tiger side.

Both seemed to have a silent agreement as their eyes locked onto Naruto's, who still continued to look at them with a smirk on his face.

The lions and tigers then slowly encircle Naruto, who also slowly stands up. His eyes, however, didn't move out and continued staring at the leader of the summoning animals in front of him.

While Naruto is just standing, it doesn't mean he didn't do anything to prepare himself for this fight. He controls the unknown energy within him and enhances his body.

Naruto didn't know if these summoning animals could even sense this unknown energy, but he made sure that he controlled the unknown energy as subtly as possible.

Suddenly one of the tigers dashes towards him and instantly closes the distance between the two of them. The tiger is preparing to attack Naruto with its sharp and deadly claw.

Naruto slightly rotates and tilts his body, and the moment the claws miss his body, Naruto immediately launches a punch directly at the tiger's face.

The tiger didn't go flying thanks to the lack of force behind it, but it was still pretty much painful for the tiger.

Before Naruto could even launch another attack on the tiger, a lion suddenly appeared behind Naruto and used its sharp claws to attack Naruto.

Naruto 'saw' the attack coming and easily dodged it, but he didn't manage to launch a counterattack since he was busy dodging the barrages of attacks coming towards him. Be it another sharp claw, teeth, or a ninja technique, Naruto dodges everything.

Sharp wind blades are coming at Naruto at high speeds, but Naruto dodges them and even uses the wind blades to injure the nearby lions and tigers.

There were also fireballs and variations of fireballs firing towards Naruto's locations, but instead of hitting him, the surrounding area was the one getting hit, causing some fire to get started.

This forces some lions and tigers to use water-style techniques to put down the fire, and Naruto tries to use this opportunity to defeat these beasts but to no avail, thanks to being bombarded by various attacks.

While Naruto didn't manage to launch a counterattack towards the lions and tigers, his dodging skills certainly improved at a faster rate than Naruto even thought possible.

As the fight continues, both the lions and tigers notice that Naruto's fighting style improves so fast that they can't even see any flaws in his fighting style anymore.

Of course the lions and tigers weren't veterans in any sense of the word, but they were still taught by the adults regularly, so the lions and tigers had much more experience than Naruto. Yet despite that, the fact that Naruto is already above all of them combined in terms of skills is quite alarming for them.

As the time passes, not only does Naruto easily dodge every attack they throw, but he is also able to launch counterattacks from time to time.

At first the counterattack had little force behind it due to the lack of time to put more force behind it, but this issue was quickly solved by Naruto.

Throughout the entire time, Naruto's smile didn't diminish; in fact, it only grew bigger, which made the tigers and lions feel chills at the depthsin of their bones.

'Magnificent! 'Naruto thought while unconsciously releasing his bloodlust.

Sensing the bloodlust of the human child surprised them because it wasn't weak but strong, and they had to think about how many beings Naruto killed in order to gain such bloodlust.

Naruto appeared to the leader of the lion and punched its face. Just as the punch connected, the space distorted in 0.000001 seconds, and around his fist a black lightning suddenly appeared.

The lion was sent flying and knocked down a couple of trees along the way while the rest of the beasts stared at Naruto in horror.

Both the tigers and the lions felt the power behind the punch and didn't know if the leader of the lions survived against such a powerful punch.

Naruto, on the other hand, froze in place while looking at both of his hands. For an unknown reason he felt like he gained a deeper understanding of the unknown energy, and his control over it seemed to improve despite the feeling he previously had that he had perfect control over it.

He didn't know why he had this feeling, but he liked it and wanted to experience it once more despite the fact he didn't have a clue how he even did it.

Naruto turned his head to the leader of the tiger with his sinister smile. The tiger unconsciously trembled after seeing Naruto's expression.

Just as Naruto was about to dash towards the leader of the tiger, he sensed someone suddenly appear, and his head turned slightly upwards, and he looked at a man around the age of 30 years or so who had black hair and eyes and was wearing a white haori and typical black ninja pants and sandals, standing on the branch of a tree.

The man also stared at Naruto with a blank expression but inwardly felt shock, especially at what he saw with his own eyes earlier.

He didn't expect such a child to be able to perform that, and from the looks of it, this kid had barely any understanding of what he just did.

Naruto stared at the unknown man, his sinister smile vanishing not because he was afraid but because he saw it: the unknown energy within the man wasn't leaking but was controlled and circulated throughout his body.

In Naruto's eyes, the way this man circulated the unknown energy within his body was more advanced than his. While Naruto believes that his control over this unknown energy is a far higher level than this person's, Naruto's way of circulating the unknown energy inside him was bad compared to this man's.

'A perfect reference,' Naruto thought and controlled and circulated the unknown energy in his body in the most optimal and efficient path.

The man stared at Naruto, eyes widening like a plate. This man immediately knew that the child in front of him didn't know anything about the energy he was controlling.

The man also concludes from the clothes Naruto is wearing that he belongs to a ninja village, but which village he doesn't know.

The tigers and lions in the area didn't make a move but instead looked at the man who just appeared with eyes full of hope. Clearly the relationship between the summoning beasts and this man is quite close.

"What's your name, boy?" The man asks, his voice filled with seriousness.

"I'm pretty sure it's basic etiquette to introduce yourself first," Naruto calmly said.

The man raised one of his eyebrows while staring at Naruto. He didn't expect to receive such a response; in fact, he expected the kid in front of him to provide his name.

But he didn't find fault with it either. He was just caught off guard, even if it was a little bit.

"Akisada, Akisada Takahashi. What's yours?" The man named Akisada introduced himself.

"Naruto," Naruto responded.
