Chapter 5 - 5. The Extraordinary Colour!

Kael had taken Princess Yuru to an open area within the palace grounds, where the young princess would begin her magical training. The area was bathed in gentle sunlight, providing a serene backdrop for her first lessons in the mystical arts.

"This area is perfect to test your magic level. I have prepared the things needed." Kael said exclaiming his excitement about it.

Kael instructed Yuru to focus her mind and soul, concentrating her energy into an orb he handed to her. It was a simple yet profound exercise, as the color of the orb would reveal her innate magical potential.

The orb was a mystical gauge. If it remained unchanged, it meant the individual couldn't use magic. If it turned blue, it indicated a normal capacity for magic. A red transformation denoted higher magical potential, while a black change signified extraordinary abilities, the kind that allowed Kael to secure his position as a personal butler at a young age.

"Ohh! so you're magical abilities are extraordinary. That's amazing." Princess said.

Princess Yuru touched the orb with both hands and closed her eyes. She focused on the task, dedicating all her energy and intent to this crucial moment in her magical journey.

Kael and Maya, who had been watching with bated breath, observed in anticipation as the orb's color began to shift. At first, it changed from its original state to blue, a promising sign. Yuru's potential was clear. Her capacity for magic was above the average level.

"Ohh! it turned blue, it turned blue." Maya says in excitement. "Shuu... quite down and let her concentrate..." Kael said trying to calm her excitement. "Ohh! my bad, I got excited seeing Princess Yuru like that..." Maya said, as she calms down.

Time passed, and Yuru continued her intense concentration. The orb's color transformed once again, this time to red, indicating her magic capacity was higher than initially thought.

"It's keeps changing colour, is that normal. It didn't happen during my test. Or does it depends on the person's abilities." Maya asked Kael being curious about it.

"No, it's not normal, so at least I don't so. But let's wait and see which color in ends up into." Kael said, calms as he observed Yuru.

As Yuru's focus deepened, the most astonishing change occurred. The orb's color shifted again, not to black, but to a brilliant and pure white, radiating with a transcendent light.

Kael and Maya exchanged glances of astonishment. They had never witnessed such a display of potential. Yuru's magical ability was not only extraordinary but appeared to be of an entirely unique nature, characterized by pure, untainted power.

Princess Yuru opened her eyes, her gaze meeting Kael's and Maya's. It was a transformative moment, unveiling the extent of her magical potential.

Kael and Maya watched in awe as the orb's color shifted to pure white, indicating Yuru's exceptionally high magical abilities. Yuru herself slowly opened her eyes, her gaze meeting theirs.

Kael couldn't hide his amazement. "Princess Yuru, this is... exceptional. Your magical potential is unlike anything I've ever seen. It's not just high; it's pure and untainted."

Yuru blushed at the praise but remained humble. "I... I don't really know what it means, Kael." Kael nodded with a warm smile. "It means you have the capacity for remarkable magical abilities. With the right guidance and training, you'll be able to harness your unique powers to their full potential."

(So, my magical abilities are extremely high. Don't know how that happened but I'll take that. It means if I learn magic I should be really strong.)

But Kael couldn't help but express a note of caution. He continued, "However, I must also tell you that when the orb's color turns white, it signifies an incredibly high magical level, which, paradoxically, can make learning magic very challenging. In fact, some individuals with this level of potential find magic so difficult to master that they eventually give up."

(So it won't be that simple ehh! Having high magic level also means harder to learn, that makes sense but at the same time doesn't. Because doesn't everyone learn magic the same way, and if so then how would it be difficult?)
