After the encounter with Lucio, Elsha had a feeling that the loop of her daily life began to change and also, she was looking forward to meeting with him the next day. After she returns home, she arranges the wood and food at respective places, then wash her face and lie down on her bed. While she trying to sleep, she was excited and looking forward to seeing him and couldn't sleep.
"Why I'm looking forward to seeing him? Hmm... let's just sleep"
While Elsha struggles to sleep, Skye on her side gives a short 'sigh'.
The night goes by and morning comes. While Elsha wakes up with a black circle under her eyes.
"Haaa… another tiring day, due to thinking about yesterday, I couldn't sleep a bit"
Suddenly she remembers saying 'See you tomorrow, Lucio.'
"Why the hell did I tell him to see again" Elsha rubs her hair madly.
"Haaa… nothing can be changed. Let's do my daily work first"
Then she begins to do her daily chores. After her all work was done, she sat on the chair in front of Veranda and looked at the flower field.
"Nothing beats looking at the flowers after a long day's work. Nothing to do. Waaa…. Somehow, I feel sleepy"
After saying this, she heads back to bed and sleeps.
Time passed and the sun was almost set, Elsha woke in a jolt.
"Oh no, already this much time has passed" Elsha started to run around in a hurry.
"Skye let's go" After that she left the home and Skye followed her.
The forest was already fogged and it was a bit cold.
"I guess, It's due to the full moon, But it's colder than usual"
Slowly Elsha reached the place where she found the One-horned rabbits. But at night the place was glittering and full of illuminate-moth, which are known as stars of night.
"Wow, it's like it has become day" But she didn't stop there and began to walk. After some time, she heard the sound of water flow.
"I guess, we are near there"
After saying that, she didn't know why. But she began to run towards there. She was panting because of the run and reached there and looked around in the hope of seeing him. But unfortunately, there was no one there.
"Sigh… what was I looking forward to? Why does a son of noble need to see me after a small conversation? I guess I'm an idiot for thinking of seeing him." She told herself and stood there in a gloom.
"So, you are self-aware that you are an idiot" Elsha heard this from behind and turned around.
"Ahhhhhhh" Elsha screams.
Lucio was behind her and was chuckling.
"What do you think you're doing? Don't you know you were about to murder a person now?" Due to frustration, Elsha shouts.
But seeing her face he began to laugh.
"Hmph, I guess I'm done today. Then bye" Due to anger Elsha says this and is about to leave.
"Sorry, it's just for fun, don't get mad," Lucio says.
Then Elsha sat near the river, but she didn't say a single word.
"Don't be mad, I said it's my fault so calm down"
Lucio says while sweating.
'What happened to me?' Lucio thought.
"Hmph, I forgive you this time," Elsha said while puffing her both cheeks.
"Okay," Lucio sweats.
"Then, as an apology, may I call you Luk from now on"
Lucio looks at her in surprise "As you like" he says.
"Then, tell me stories about outside, Luk" Elsha asked.
Lucio begins to speak about his travels and Elsha is listening to those stories like a child.
This meeting became daily and as the day passed, they began to get closer. As time passed Lucio explained about himself. He was from a dukedom called Forcalor and was under one of 7 Kings, who ruled over the region. Obviously, Elsha doesn't understand the region because she only knows about the village where she lives and the lord of that region.
About one month passed.
"Waa.. It's another day" Elsha wakes up and looks at the storage.
"Hmmm… I guess we need to the village store for some flour and ingredients" Elsha says and takes her basket.
"Skye, stay here. I will be back soon" and she left for the village.
As always, when she reaches the village. The villagers gave a cold face and were covered in discomfort. But it was a bit intense this time.
"What have I ever done? Why are they looking at me like I killed someone?" Elsha murmurs.
As she reached the old man's store, she asked "Grandpa, what happened? Why are they acting like this? Did something happen?" she asked.
"I guess you didn't know that since you're coming once a month, but something terrible happened," the old man says in a low voice.
"What happened Grandpa?"
"As you know, they all see you as a nuisance and try to kick you out because of their myth. But they are now blaming you for a disease that causing here"
"What? A disease?"
"Yeah, and the symptoms are like a curse. That's what they are using to blame you"
Elsha gets a bad feeling.
"Grandpa, what are its symptoms?"
"Oh, that is dark circles form in your body, and when it goes on time, your eyes become red, and lose your sight. But for God's sake, nobody is dead" The Old man says
"My child, go before they cause trouble. I already packed your stuff, so immediately go back"
Elsha nods, then takes the package and leaves. But on her way, a boy who was running collided with Elsha. The boy looks at her when he realizes it's Elsha, he becomes panicked and runs.
'Haaa... this is an obvious reaction' Elsha thought with a bitter smile.
Then she returned home "Sigh… it was a tiring day. Seriously, why do they always blame me for anything happening in the village? I guess, I have a lot of things to talk about with Luk" and she prepared to leave for the forest with Skye.
But she didn't know what was going to happen, while she was having a cheerful time with Lucio.
