Inside the room, Mei saw a sight that made her heart stop. It was a training room, filled with all sorts of instrument of torture. Whips,chains and other unspeakable device were hanging on the walls. She turned to her husband her eye wide with fear. " What's this? She asked. "This is where you will learn to obey me'. He said. And if you don't, you will face the consequences ".
Mei was terrified, but she knew she had to be strong. ' I will not submit to you. You can do what you want to me, but I will not obey you. 'there they are! a voice cried, The sisters turned to see a group of men running towards them. They were dressed in black, and theg carried weapons, what do we do? Li whispered to Mei. 'Run! The two sisters took off running for their lives.
The men were close behind them, and they could hear their footsteps pounding on the ground. The sisters ducked down a side street, hoping to lose their pursuers. They turned down another alley and then another until they sure they had lost them. They stopped to catch their breath, leaning against the wall of a building. "I think we're safe '. Li said.
