Chapter Four
Kevin Gregory's face darkened, "Do you really have to force me to settle old scores with you?"
Upon hearing this, Kevin's mother looked a bit changed, but she still couldn't let go of her pride, and said coldly, "No matter what I've done before, she's now Arthur Baker's wife, am I wrong about that?"
"They're already divorced."
"Divorced? Son, you're far too naive, aren't you? This woman told you she was divorced? There's no way Arthur Baker would divorce her. Do you want to be entangled with a married woman for the rest of your life? How do you expect your father and me to face others in the future? Everywhere we go, people will point at me and scold."
Those unpleasant words pierced into Aurelia Wood's heart like needles.
She could hardly endure it, forcing a slight smile, "I have something to do, I'll be going now."
