Tremble. Tremble. Tremble.
The rift trembled, distorting Sano and Natta's figures before they turned into two flashes that vanished into the rift at tremendous speed.
This wasn't the real Void Transit, or rather, not its main body, but it showed Adam how this method worked.
At first, Adam had thought the Void Transit was simply a more advanced teleportation system of the Spires or the Detached Mountains, with their spatial anomalies.
But that wasn't the case. Now he understood. The Void Transit worked differently. To some extent, it was much simpler than the teleports but at the same time far more dangerous.
"They went to the actual Void Transit, right?" Adam asked, looking at Farla.
Farla nodded deeply and gestured toward the rift.
"We call them the Void Routes. Such rifts are found in several places within the Citadel, but only at the First Ring. As you saw, it wasn't a teleport, but rather a significant acceleration, so powerful that even their bodies become distorted."
