He reached out and patted her small butt: "Come here."
"No way!" Norris pouted, feeling a bit dejected, and sat between his legs sulking.
Trenton sighed lightly and pulled her onto his lap with one motion.
He poured her a glass of water to rinse her mouth and asked, "Why did you suddenly want to learn this?"
Norris puffed up her cheeks: "I just want to make you feel good too. I want you to try something else for a change."
Right now, he'd gone through so much trouble for her, even turning against Philip Shaw for her sake. After thinking about it, she couldn't figure out how to repay him.
She always felt he treated her so well, yet she had nothing to offer in return.
Although people in love supposedly don't keep score, if she could do something within her capabilities to make him happy, she'd feel deeply satisfied.
