By the time they got home, it was already past eleven in the evening.
Norris had just finished her shower, but her feet were still cold. She sat cross-legged on Trenton's lap and said, "Tilly will be coming over the day after tomorrow. I plan on letting her stay at our place. What do you think?"
Trenton casually twirled a strand of her long hair that had fallen across her chest and replied, "Up to you."
"Hey, you actually agreed to that?" Norris was somewhat surprised by his easy response.
He glanced at her. "What else?"
"I thought you'd complain that Tilly would get in the way of our private time…"
"You already know that?"
Norris chuckled, wrapping her arm around his neck. "She's just staying a few days for a business trip. It's such a hassle for a girl to stay in a hotel by herself, and I haven't seen her in ages. If she stays with us, we'll have more time to chat."
Trenton gave her a light smack on her backside and responded indifferently, "Hmm."
