Flat-Brim Samurai Chapter 136 - New Roommates
Apollo had stepped through the portal and saw the inside of the place they were staying, it was pretty big for what was supposed to be for 2 people. The area they first arrived in was the front door which had a living room to the right of it and a kitchen to the left with a dining table. Stepping down the corridor they saw a bathroom to the left and just beyond that was a staircase leading to the second floor. On the second floor, it looked as if there were 2 master bedrooms, because they were.
,"They really decked everything out for us," Apollo exclaimed.
Cias Replied ,"This is really nice."
They even saw their names on the doors to the rooms. They both checked out their bedrooms.
,"DUDE MINE HAS A WALKIN CLOSET," Apollo shouted
,"MINE TOO."
They ran around the house a few times to get their bearings, it seemed like there were no windows, it seemed to be similar to the pocket dimension housing they used when they first got here. When they were done searching the house for extra stuff to find or try out, they decided to just sit on the generously soft and large couch.
Cias spoke ,"You know I wouldn't want anyone else as my roommate."
Apollo smiled ,"Thank you dawg, that means a lot."
Cias spoke again ,"It's kind of crazy that all of this ended up the way that it did, I mean I couldn't have imagined anything like this happening to me."
Apollo's smile turned into a smirk ,"Probably because of all that strength you gained, how'd you manage to defeat him so easily."
Cias looked away as he replied ,"It seems that while I noticed that we both have unification, I noticed that mine seems to be more solid, like it's more concrete somehow. If I had to equate it to something. It's like there are different levels of breakthroughs for each person regarding crafting their soul into a weapon and then unifying with it. The way that you got your assimilation weapon was different from how I got mine. Because of that, I think the defining factor for me was my connection to Onyx. We had been together for so long that I think it started shaping my soul as much as I shaped his."
Apollo didn't really say anything for a while, until he said ,"Well I guess I'll have to train extra hard to beat you again."
,"Keep dreaming." They both laughed for a while.
,"Hey Apollo?"
,"Yeah, what is it?"
,"Wanna eat some quesadillas?"
,"HELL YEAH I DO!!!"
They both went to the kitchen and looked in the fridge, just to realize that there was nothing in there, but when they closed it the screen on the fridge lit up. It had text on it saying "Order food". The both of them looked at each other, Cias clicked on the screen and it sent them to a screen with millions if not billions of items. Apollo stepped towards the screen and stopped Cias for a second to scroll until he was satisfied.
,"You done?"
,"Yeah, I just wanted a look."
Cias searched for quesadillas in the search bar and a bunch of them showed up, thousands of vendors. They settled on one and clicked purchase, BOOF. The whole meal cost 450 Legrun total. When they opened up the fridge they saw the piping hot quesadillas. They took them out and rushed over to the table to eat them.
After eating, Apollo and Cias walked to their rooms and went to bed after scrolling through their phones…
The next day, when they were both awoken by an alarm set in the house itself, they went to their closets and put on their new uniforms. Apollo put on his military uniform that was black with a white trim. Except when he put it on the trim attuned itself to his aura and turned green. Everything was fitted tight but felt loose, it was stretchy, being able to follow any motion that Apollo was able to produce. When he walked out of the room he saw Cias in his black and gold uniform.
Apollo smirked at him ,"This is pretty sweet."
Cias and Apollo ate breakfast and walked to the door, once they walked outside they noticed that they were in a giant auditorium.
