,"I think that's enough for now. Devan, you're up." Devan walked forwards, he summoned his boombox BWOMF. He smirked and started playing his music, he loosened his body to the maximum, to the point where he held nearly tension in his body, it was absolutely insane. He used his ki to support his movements as he circled around and eventually started to get close to Evan. Evan spread out his hands and Flames were summoned in the air and Ice Shards were surrounded around them.
The fire and ice was flung at Devan, he shifted his weight below a flying ice shard and rolled under a fireball, jumped over another fireball and balamced on his hand as he landed on his feet and flung himself forwards. His face was devoid of emotion yet his ki let out a sort of excitement he had. From below him there were Ice Spikes that came up from the ground STACK STACK STACK WOOSH.
Devan's eyes glazed over as he continued to flow around the attacks, like a trance. Devan summoned Wind to accelerate himself towards Evan, he threw a kick towards the head of Evan but Evan rolled under it and imbued his hands with Flame and Ice. Devan moved around on his feet with efficiency and accuracy. Devan punched Evan in the stomach but just before he retracted his hand Evan grabbed his arm and stepped in, turned his back to Devan in an instant before throwing him on the ground, shattering the stone(Seoi Nage) BOOM.
Devan slapped out perfectly and spun his body, spinning onto his head where he kicked Evan on the ribs BOOM. Devan spun around and around and used his boombox as a blungeoning tool in order to chip away at Evan defenses BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM. Evan was eventually able to get out of the attack but Devan jumped to his feet and was just about to bash at Evan's head.
Evan stopped him with Telikinesis ,"That's enough, very good job, keep working on your fighting style!" Devan gained back the tension in his body
,"Thank you sir!"
,"Alright Cias, get over here!"
Cias stretched out his arms and said ,"Yes sir." Cias summoned Onyx and spun it in his hands, he could feel the weight distribution perfectly. Apollo noticed something about Cias.
(Are his hair and eyes more golden than usual?) Apollo couldn't understand the sudden slight shift in Cias's look but understood that something had changed about him, in fact, he started noticing the slight difference in everyone around him. His hair and eyes turned slightly green, Devan's hair and eyes were slightly white and Noah's hair and eyes had gained a sheen of red. Their different looks reflected the color of their auras, if only by just a little bit.
Cias extended Onyx right out in front of him. Evan's eyes closed in on him (He's become really strong). Evan said ,"Let's see what you got!"
Cias dashed forwards and stabbed at Evan SWOOSH, he barely dodged and Cias readied himself for the next blow as Evan summoned 3 barriers BOOM BOOM CRASH. Cias blew through 2 barriers but stopped on the third. Cias activated his Flame which was mixed in with golden particles. His Flame had evolved massively along with him, partly due to Onyx's help but mainly unification connecting his soul to his ki that much more. It was much hotter than his normal ki reserves would allow for the moment and had the added effect of targeting the soul along with the body. He swiped his spear up and slashed at Evan until he was stopped BWOOMF.
Evan was completely bamboomled ,"You're good, impressively good, and powerful. Good job. I don't know how you found that strength, but I'm kinda terrified and proud."
Apollo was shocked as well, the fight was so short yet Cias had proven himself so one-sidedly. Apollo's mouth hung slightly open (How strong has he truly become). Apollo knew for a fact that Cias had better technical skill and spiritual connection than him but he didn't know by how much. Apollo then smirked (I can't wait to train with him again!).
Evan gathered them all up in a line and said ,"Congratulations, it's time for you guys to train at our academy and get even stronger. We will be dividing into two groups for roommate purposes so I think it would be be beneficial for Devan to work on his strength and Noah to work on his technique so I think that you two would work well together as roommates. Apollo and Cias, you guys just work so well together and can amplify each other to push out what your best is."
Evan opened 2 portals ,"Noah and Devan, go left, Cias and Apollo, go right."
They all bowed in front of him and said ,"Thank you for all of the training!"
Evan smiled ,"Don't worry guys, I'll still be your leader until they say otherwise, so this won't be goodbye."
Once they went through the other side of the portals, Evan was alone. A figure appeared behind him.
,"How did they do? How strong do you expect them to become?"
Evan smiled ,"That depends."
,"Depends on what?"
,"How strong do you want them to be?"
,"Somehow, I'd knew you'd say that, I've been excited to see how far they'd come myself. Their drive to grow stronger is a marvel"
