Gael PoV
I snoozed away in my room. Last night, I had finished a big order—a set of horseshoes for the city guards' pegasi and unicorns. Right now, I wanted nothing more than to snooze the day away.
Suddenly, I heard the door creak open. I figured it was probably Setsuka coming to grab something she had forgotten.
Just as I began to sink back into dreams, the tranquility was shattered. I felt a sudden weight on my chest and then, without warning, two small bodies began jumping on me.
"Wake up, Daddy! Wake up!" a familiar voice called out, filled with excitement.
"Up, up, up!" squealed the other, her giggles ringing like tiny bells.
I opened one eye and smirked as I grabbed a hold of the mastermind, lifting him up like when he was a baby. "Seb, you little troublemaker!"
Seb let out a fit of giggles, clearly enjoying his moment of glory. "I'm not a troublemaker! I'm an adventurer!" he proclaimed proudly, his green eyes gleaming with mischief.
