Jonathan talked to the staff member who then shortly said they would look into the matter before giving Jonathan a call.
On the drive back home, Jonathan suddenly got a call from one of his friends "Cole", he asked to quickly meet up with Jonathan at a nearby park. He seemed to be running out of breath as he spoke, Jonathan questioned him about it and he simply just said a meet up time before hanging up. Jonathan found Cole's behavior quite surprising but nevertheless turned the car around at a nearby intersection heading straight to the park. Upon arriving he sat at a nearby bench as he waited for Cole. There was few people present at the park, some walking their pets and some walking around with friends or enjoying quiet picnics with family. Jonathan sat there waiting for quite a while before Cole finally showed up, he was covered in black from top to bottom and he was wearing a black cap as if attempting to hide his face. He sat on the other side of the bench and told Jonathan not to look towards him. Jonathan nodded, not quite understanding what exactly was happening. Cole pulled down his cap a bit more before he spoke up.
"I'll just skip the boring stuff and cut to the case"
"What's this about?"
"I'm going away for a while"
"Why?"
"I think they're coming after me"
"Who?"
Cole paused for a bit, thinking to himself before he responded.
"Me and Matthew had some stuff going on and with his disappearance and the call, I just...I just can't be involved in this kinda stuff anymore"
"What call?"
"I received a call from an unknown number yesterday..."
"Who was it?"
"Something just came up, I really need to go"
"Cole what is it man? You know you can tell me anything, right?"
"It was Matthew..."
