The clay reformed back the King's appearance, panting heavily as he'd sustain such chills embedded in his body, struggling to properly move with how much hot steam gushed about. He looked back and see Koina still staring down, watching with bated breath. Like an animal, she stalks after, her newly built arms quickly reaching across her scale-like body, slithering underneath it, as her mouth breathed out such small clouds. "Look at you... You're just like them... I thought I had an equal. Someone who hates the very skeleton that was that damned Kingdom! I thought we both despised that place, both its people and its leader! You remember it, right? You gave us intel in the first place! Why would you-"
SHIKK!!!
A stab straight through his stomach, one that would dig deep and butcher into whatever remained for a soul. Wyvios was taken aback as he recognized the blade, the beast coming out from the drawn out shadows. The iceberg wasn't just an attempt to imprison, but to cast a darkness that lets the Knight emerge. "This.... is for my family... bastard of a Sun..." He'd demand, a smile visible underneath such a helm, an excitement that courses across him as he finally gets the chance to prove he was worthy, to have a chance in redeeming himself.
Koina, meanwhile, would speak up, as she watched Eustace kept butchering into Kabanaska's Tyrant. "I hate it. I hate all of it. The Violence, the loss, the injuries even. All I want was to live a proper life... and Orochi was the very life I was born with. I understood you at first, sure, but then you took my arms. You are right. Orochi is a Mess. A Mess that I want to fix by myself. A Mess that I want to confront and prove not everything is about strength. You took that philosophy and buried it in that Bunker. Now? Now I care less about what I want out of my Home..."
"Now I just want you gone."
The Ice began to crack apart, a sigil born beneath her to utilize Asmodeus. She recalled well how stacking such markings can amplify the specific style, provided it shares a jointed effort. She allowed Eustace to spread his shadows and make another sigil, whilst carving her own with her dagger. All of this was to act as one boiling point, a chance to weaponize the air and cook everyone underneath it. Wyvios was quick on retreating back into the clay, but the Knight of Shadows stomped down his legs and pushed him back up, forcing him to face his incoming punishment. "So that's it? You just want to be one of those savages? Is that what you wanted?? You still have a spot open! Seek reasoning! Hell, I'll even let you rule as QUEEN! I know I'm going to die, I've come to terms with that when everything is going to ruin, but I can still have our legacy thrive! You can own my SUN! You can rule over this world with an iron fist! You can get back at Orochi like I couldn't!!" His pleads and bribery were nauseating to hear, as she watched Wyvios beginning to struggle in the heat.
"I am. I will. I'm simply making sure you perish first." No further words said, as Koina watched her arms begin to melt, unfazed by the rest of her body with her draconic heritage. To see someone once a resident of Orochi unable to handle a little bit of heat made her disgusted. It made her question if everything he said was a lie, but every time she reminds herself such, she simply had to look at his eyes to confirm he indeed was a Dragon at one point. She watched as Eustace reveled in such desires, shanking at the body again and again, watching it curve and hack into him, very evident he wanted this to happen. She can't help but give a small smile, pondering what exactly did he do that made such a monster act so violent before such a creator. All she could recall during her recovery was of a Mother and a Son. All she could recall as she woke up was the Son's words hammering in her mind.
"Just get out of here."
"You still have a life ahead of you."
"You wasted enough here, already."
"Go be someone."
"Go do something."
"You failed as a father... but you can still succeed as a soldier."
FWOOOOOOOOOSH!!!!!
The flames rose and burnt as much as it can, letting Koina kick the iceberg to the side as she watched on such bodies cooked away. She basks in the warmth from afar once she gets enough space, keeping her cold breath on her arms to ensure she wouldn't lose them. It was quick to dawn on her that she was using her heritage, the very thing she resented. She stares blankly at herself, wondering if she truly hated Orochi. She called back to those that were able to aid her, those that she was willing to call friends. "Maybe I could even use it to get back at Taro and those that wronged all of us..." Those were the words she said when she thought she had a chance at the world. The longer she stared at the fire, at the people in such panic, at the King that desperately wants her back on his side for some form of validation to hate her home, part of her wonders...
Would this have been her if she kept such hate?
The ground began to shift again, a set of hands reaching up that the Assassin leaped out of the way in time, watching Eustace charge in through the flames, his blade carrying the mass fire in order to cut down whatever remained in this Kingdom. Wyvios has had enough, quickly weaponizing the clay as serpents to snake around and snare him, holding such force to snap and break any parts of the shadowed self if it had proper bone. Eustace still relented, but he'd struggle underneath the binds before him. The King pants heavily, his robes tattered, burned, as his crown was long since abandoned. All that was left that still act as human was the coloring in his hair and parts of his skin, as the rest became nothing but grey. "You're right... Orochi is a problem." Koina mumbled, readying her dagger once more. "But I'd rather be there a thousandfold than fall in whatever pit of hell you decided to dig us in. I know a better solution now... and it starts with you."
Sounding as redemption, at first, but Wyvios knew better. He knew she wouldn't forgive him for what he's done. "It is treason then..." He'd breathe, as he'd stand himself back up, watching the monster hover above and ready to attack, as well as the bout between Zazel and Mawkin reaching its own climax, preparing for his own funeral. "...I am so sorry for giving you this burden. I truly wanted to help you. If you reach the afterlife, I only hope you're graced with the Sun's light as you ascend. Goodbye, Koina."
