Chapter 574 - Chapter 574: The Dome

KRACC!!!

The Dome was beginning to crack under the mass of talismans. Such a kingdom resting as the heart of the Circle was visible for every corner across the ring. Such papers blanketed and squeezed into the barrier, slowly trickling down its defenses, as the group began to take for cover while Tsukiya basked under her own destruction.

KRACC!! KRACC!!! KRACC!!!!

One by one, the barrier broke down, leaving behind such shards of what was once their defenses, the papers quickly ripped through and spawning such Yokai, watching as Harvard placed his seal to try and catch them all, allowing Enenra to maneuver it and snag whomever was available. One such beasts and pieces were taken, the marking's glow was as bright as the light they saw before, evidence that such magic was vastly compared to others they've met. Something was going on here to converge and weaponize the energy conversion into a weapon, a defense. "Waow... Seems like they didn't want to see what they're making." She'd mutter to herself.

BONG!! BONG!! BONG!!! BONG!!!

Bells rang loud as the 'sky' fell, the steel bending and wavering on each sound, as the people woke up and went amok in fear and mania. Soon as they left their crooked buildings and saw the clear air, they screamed and panicked, unable to handle the real light. Guards from all sides came out, being just as artificial as the structures, as the King descended out, his eyes covered in kiwi's, his face in facial cream, his body in wrappings to preserve himself. "WHAT JUST HAPPENED!? What's going on!?!" He'd demand, taking off one of the kiwi's to get a better look, seeing the crowded group in the middle of it all, as well as the smoke extending itself to let Tsukiya dismantle everything. His eyes widened as he'd see the Kitsune again, pondering how long must it be to have seen such a face again. He raised his hands up to act as the signal for the populace to be contained, which at first confused the lot, until they'd see such citizens slow themselves and see up above the very image that was their king, a projection from the light, the face draped in darkness, the upper body only visible, a declaration of control and obedience. "As I live and breathe! The Princess of Kagoma! The Princess of Calibren! It is with upmost delight and excellence that we see you again. I see your beauty is as...Ravishing... as your physique. Has your father given you his training regiment, by any chance? You have such strong arms for something so slender..." His tone and way with words was chilling, enough to make Enenra act defensive and shield her from such perverse eyes.

"Please, for the love of God, no. You are barking up the wrong tree, here." He'd demand. The Smoke Man's requests, however, fell on deaf ears as the King laughed.

"Oh please! It is all in good fun! I won't be laying a finger on her, least without her permission."

"She also wasn't kidding when she dubbed this as the 'Forbidden Kingdom.' Don't you have basic manners for a King?"

"HAH! As if we'd be willing to bar ourselves in such civility. In a world where man can drop the sky on one's head, we might as well indulge in the finer things in life. One mistake, and there it goes! Your life forever sacrificed to whatever deity you devoted yourself for. I'd rather not bother myself with the headaches to the afterlife, especially with word going 'round about a portal to hell opening up! Can you imagine that?" He'd mock such words, as he'd snap his fingers and have one of the guards be quick to get the latest paper, showcasing such news going rampant, news of the invasion he's treating as a mere side piece in comparison. "Now, aside from such baseless claims, what exactly do you people wish out from Kabanaska, and thusly, from I? We're supposed to be resting ourselves for the big day, y'now? The big day o-"

"Tsukiya's home got wiped out. We're hoping to get some info here so we can learn on getting back against Sozo!" Harvard interrupted, a beautiful lie using the recent events, stunting and getting stares from the King.

"...Excuse me?"

"Yeah, Calibren's a WRECK now. We wanna get even!" Yet another lie, as Harvard was already getting bad feelings out from him. Previous ideas in using them to attack back were dashed as soon as he tried to womanize Tsukiya in front of him and make excuses out of it. No way was someone like him going to be helpful. He was already having some regrets for even bothering to come here, to which Tsukiya was able to notice and give a glare that hinted 'I told you so' without needing to say it.

"...Calibren. The most secure Kingdom of the Omega's Circle. The Kingdom ruled directly under Cliffside's eyes. The Kingdom that is capable of toppling nations without needing to do anything. All gone. Are you messing with me, boy??" His voice, at first, had anger that the people began to back away. In reality, he was in disbelief, pondering what did Sozo do to take that advantage?

"He's not! We got flooded out by a sea of blood and toxins, Waow! It went all over the place. Got spied on, too, thanks to Enenra's outburst when he was suspected of being a traitor by our Elite's!" Tsukiya was able to cover for Harvard's lie with one of her own, an alibi believable enough, watching as Wvyros paced back and forth, trying to piece it all together.

"Well... if that isn't the worst news I've been given up to this point. Very well then, I shall abide by your requests to... 'get even' against Sozo. I currently hold no allegiance to both sides, so you're very wise to choose us as your vehicle. Just as long as you follow our rules and regulations, Kabanaska is open to all parties. Perhaps later on, we can exchange-"

"Don't push it." Harvard interrupts once again, annoying Wyvros a bit, but growing understanding to why he says such words.

"Fair enough. You want out of this circle much as I do. For now, my people! Have your rest once again. For you, come in."
