The land trembled as he descended, but this time he caused far less damage than before.
Dagruel's massive form appeared after sensing Veldora's aura. Beside him, lounging in the air as if he had nothing better to do, was Dino.
Dagruel (booming):
"Veldora! You left Nasca so soon."
Veldora smirked, shifting into his humanoid form, his eyes gleaming with mischief.
Veldora:
"Look, Dino, Dragual… the gift bestowed upon me by Big Brother."
He raised his hand, summoning radiant energy as he revealed his prize.
Veldora:
"Ultimate Skill: Uriel, Lord of Covenant. Granted by Veldanava himself as a reward when I first attained this form. He said it would suit me well."
Dino's lazy eyes widened slightly. He unfolded his arms and gave a low whistle.
Dino:
"So that's why Master Veldanava summoned you to the Kingdom of Nasca… not to scold you, but to reward you. I'll admit, that's impressive."
Dagruel growled.
Dagruel:
"Hmph. Good for you. But I have no need for an Ultimate Skill. My strength lies in my Ultimate Form."
There was a flicker of envy in his tone, though he tried to bury it beneath pride.
Dino tilted his head, smirking slyly.
Dino:
"Ultimate Form, huh? But to use it, don't you need to fuse with your brothers? Without their approval, your so-called Asura Form is just a dream."
Dagruel (snarling):
"Silence, you humanoid chicken!"
Dino (mock offended, shrugging):
"Why so angry? I'm only telling the truth."
Dagruel (snapping):
"Did anybody ask!?"
Their bickering filled the skies—sparks of power clashing against Dino's lazy aura—while Veldora threw back his head and roared with laughter.
Veldora (roaring with laughter):
"Bwahahaha! You two never change!"
Then, with sudden seriousness, his gaze turned westward. Beyond the mountains stretched the endless horizon of green—the Forest of Jura.
Veldora (thinking):
"Brother's gift… Uriel. I must carry it well. But for now… perhaps a little rest."
Without another word, Veldora transformed back into his dragon form, spread his wings, and took flight—leaving Dagruel and Dino behind in their endless squabbles.
Dagruel:
"Looks like that idiot only came to show off his Ultimate Skill."
Dino:
"Hmmm… you're right."
Dagruel:
"But still… couldn't he have just left in his humanoid form? Why transform back into a dragon and shake my territory again?"
Dino:
"…."

Time Skip — 20 Years Later
Deep within a cavern in Jura, the Storm Dragon lay curled in silence. His colossal form slumbered, storms quiet around him.
Though Veldanava had entrusted him with Uriel, the Storm Dragon had not used its authority. Instead, he had done… nothing.
He slept.
He dreamed.
He wasted decades away in idleness.
Until his very slothfulness bore fruit.
System Voice:
"Unique Skill Acquired: Sloth."
Born of laziness, shaped by endless stillness, the skill coiled around his soul like chains of comfort.
Veldora (muttering, half-asleep):
"Eh… Sloth, huh? Not bad. Less work for me…"
And so, while the world moved forward—while kingdoms rose and fell—the Storm Dragon slept on.
But fate had not forgotten him.
And soon, the silence would break.
