Xia Lihua shifted position simultaneously, covering his flank. "Left side clear for three seconds," she called out.
"Enough," Yang Lingyun replied.
He used the opening.
A precise burst of fire suppressed the remaining guards attempting to regroup near the cell rows.
Xia Lihua moved deeper along the perimeter of the dungeon block, checking between cells. Some were empty. Some contained prisoners—silent, restrained figures watching her without reaction.
None were Blaze.
"Not here," she muttered.
"Deeper," Yang Lingyun said.
Another group of guards emerged from the far end corridor.
This time, they were faster to coordinate.
Xia Lihua exhaled once, before firing twice—forcing them into staggered positions rather than direct approach. Yang Lingyun used the disruption to advance, disarming one guard mid-step and redirecting him into the wall with controlled force.
The environment became increasingly unstable.
Alarms continued to ring overhead.
