"Are there any good men left in this world?" Sharon Sutton said. "We sisters seem to have met all the scumbags."
She had figured that since Charles Prescott was rich, it was only natural for him to be a bit of a playboy.
But she never expected David Hayes, who had nothing, to be just like Charles Prescott.
'She couldn't help but feel disillusioned with human nature!'
Mrs. Sutton said, "Of course there are."
Anne Sutton sat to the side, listening to her mother console Sharon, and decided not to go home for the night.
She sent the butler a message, telling him she wouldn't be back tonight.
When Nathan Fawcett came out of the shower, the butler walked in and said, "Madam says she won't be coming home tonight."
Hearing this, Nathan Fawcett looked up at the butler. "Did something happen to her?"
She had seemed exceptionally anxious when she left.
'It must have been something urgent.'
