All 6: IT'S THAT KAIJU?!
After listening to each other's stories with Kaneki, the Higanbana girls were all in shock as the same Kaiju that had saved them the previous day.
Has now reappeared heading towards the evacuation as soon as the sun began to rise.

All 6: !!!
Immediately after spotting the Kaiju, the air horns around the evacuation began to blare out loudly as an alarm.
???: Move it! Prepare the weapons!!!
What followed were the agents began mobilizing towards the Kaiju.
Natsuki: Hey what are they doing?
Yuuka: They're most likely trying to confront the Kaiju.
Miku: Hold on, didn't they also witnessed—
Atsuo: Girls!
As they were talking, they heard Atsuo shouting at them.
Atsuo: What are you all doing here this early?! Nevermind that get out of here!
Shino: Why Uncle?!
Atsuo: We're preparing in case Kaijira attacks!
All 6: Kaijira?
Atsuo: That Kaiju! Just go already!
Miku: Where are we even supposed to go?!
Atsuo: To Akuma Castle!
Atsuo pointed towards Akuma Castle which was still in it's robot form.
Atsuo: You all got that!
The Higanbana girls hesitated leaving but ultimately they had no choice but to go.
All 6: Got it!
Miku: Dad! Please come back to us okay?!
Atsuo: I promise!
And so the Higanbana girls left the river and headed straight to Akuma Castle.
Atsuo's thoughts*

A few minutes later~
Kotori: Girls!
After running for a bit the Higanbana had arrived at Akuma Castle alongside almost half of all the evacuees.
There they found Kotori who looked completely worried.
Kotori: Where did you all go?! We were all worried that you all ran away!
Miku & Sachi: Sorry Onee-chan/Ai-chan! We went to the river to talk—
Kotori: Okay not the time! C'mon let's go to the adults!
All 6: Got it!
Kotori then guided them until they reached their parents.
Shiro, Genta, Yuuki, Jin, Hachi, Katsuki & Satsuki: Girls!
It wasn't long until they got to their parents, and they were all given hugs aside from Miku and Chikao.
Kotori: Okay everyone is here.
Yuuki: What's going on?
Shiro: Yeah? It's so early... Don't tell me we're being attacked!
Kotori: Sadly we're unsure, but something is definitely coming.
Genta: You're kidding... We just escaped yesterday and we're getting attacked again?
Jin: We barely even got a break...
With the Kaiju appearing mass panic began spreading throughout everyone in the camp.
All 6: ...
The Higanbana girls also couldn't reassure their parents since they also don't know the intentions of the Kaiju nor if it had any intentions at all.
Yuuka: Where are the Beats Knights?
Kotori: Sadly... Aside from Ku-Kun, Kaigon and Hegon. Every one of them is still unconscious.
And with the Beast Knights out of commission, their options of protection was limited.
Kotori: Well... I'll be right back I guess.
Katsuki: Wait where are you going, Kotori-chan?
Kotori: Where else? In Akuma Castle, I'm currently the only one who can pilot her.

After saying that Kotori flew up to Akuma Castle Robo's head and got ready to pilot.
All 6: ...
With Kotori now piloting Akuma Castle Robo, and the Council in position, everyone waited for the Kaiju to make it's move.
A few minutes later~
Rumble~!
Atsuo: There he is...
Aiya: I can't believe it...
After a few minutes had passed, the Kaiju was no in range of the weapons of the Council and they were all ready to defend the camp with all they got.
Querxes: Oi! Why aren't we firing?!
But as Kaijira had gotten closer and closer, the Council hadn't once fired a single shot which made Querxes extremely worried.
Atsuo: Be patient! Fire on my signal!
Although he says that, Atsuo himself was actually hesitating on firing at it.
(That Kaijira survived its own powerful attack, I doubt our weapons would even scratch it. If we make it aggressive we're surely screwed.)
Partly due to to witnessing how durable the Kaiju was.
(But why isn't making any other move?)
But he was also curious to why the Kaiju hadn't made a single sign of attacking.

Everyone: IT STOPPED?!
Kaijira had gotten dangerously close around 100 meters away from the evacuation camp, and completely ceased all movement and stood still.
Near Akuma Castle*
???: Hey what's going on?! Why is it just standing there?!
???: It's so huge!!!
Everyone by Akuma Castle Robo were panicking as the sight of the unknown Kaiju standing right in front of their camp terrified them.
Yuuka: Natsuki?
Katsuki: Dear?
But as everyone was panicking, Natsuki was just staring at the Kaiju with a completely stunned expression all over her face.
Chikao: Natsuki? Is there something wrong?
Natsuki: I looked into that Kaiju's soul... It's... Happy?
The Higanbana girls as well as their parents were all shocked after hearing Natsuki saying that the Kaiju was happy.
Satsuki: Hold on. What do you mean happy?
Natsuki: I don't know... But it's looking at everyone right now and from the colors of it's soul, it's feeling slightly happy.
The Higanbana girls and their parents then looked back at Kaijira after what Natsuki said.
Jin: Hey she's right.
Genta: That thing is looking directly towards us!
Kaijira was staring off towards all of the evacuees and then down to the Council.

Back at the frontline, Atsuo and the rest of the Council's staff stood still not knowing what to do.
Kirin: Hey why aren't we firing?
Atsuo: Don't be stupid, if we attack that thing might get aggressive.
Querxes: But that thing is already dangerously close!!!
Atsuo: Just don't be rash!
Aiya: Everyone!

Everyone: Huh?!
Suddenly the Kaiju's body began glowing a bright pink light which caused even more panic.
Querxes: IT'S GOING TO ATTACK!!!
Atsuo: EVERYONE GET READY!
They were about to initiate the attack when.

Kaijira: Groan~
Everyone: Eh?
Kaijira had changed into a much smaller quadrupedal dinosaur-like form and began approaching the frontlines.
Aiya: W-Why did it change?
Querxes: Who cares?! C'mon Atsuo we have to attack now!!!
After witnessing such a thing, Atsuo had a strange feeling.
Atsuo: ... Everyone wait here, and hold your fire.
He didn't know what he was feeling, however he trusted it and began approaching Kaijira on his own.
Everyone: Atsuo-sama/Atsuo/Dear?!
Unsurprisingly everyone with him got concerned with his actions, but because they didn't want him getting hurt they held their fire and waited.
Atsuo: ...

Kaijira: Groan~
It wasn't long until Atsuo came face to face with Kaijira who despite being smaller was still massive.
Having the height of 7.5 Meters and length of 25 meters, it was comparable to some dragons and could easily kill Atsuo.
Atsuo: ... Were you made by my son?
But Atsuo didn't showed any fear and instead looked at Kaijira with saddened eyes thinking that Kaijira was made by Kaneki.

Kaijira: Groan~
Kaijira let out a soft groan before lowering his head and his horn allowing Atsuo to touch it.
Atsuo: I-Is it really okay? ...

After a short hesitation, Atsuo touched and rubbed the massive horn of Kaijira.
Kaijira: Groan~
Atsuo: Heh... Did you you like that? For such a scary and fearsome looking thing, you're quite sweet eh?
Kaijira: Groan~
Atsuo: Everyone! Lower your weapons!
Everyone: What?!
Atsuo: This guy isn't out enemy!
With Atsuo accepting Kaijira, it will now be part of the evacuation camp.
