Chapter 25 - Chapter 23 : Villainous Machinations

Genghis Khan sat on his throne, watching as his men dragged in the fake Hitler. The metal monster was powerless, drained of the energy that Genghis had been siphoning off for weeks. It had been a brilliant plan, really. He had convinced the madman to come under his protection, promising to give him unlimited power and the world at his feet. Hitler had been too eager to believe him, too blinded by his own ambition to see the trap being set around him.

Genghis chuckled to himself as he watched the fake Hitler struggle against his captors. The man was nothing but a shell now, a puppet that he controlled with his will. He had used the metal body to lure Arthur and his companions into a false sense of security, knowing that they would come to fight him eventually. It had been a simple matter to put on a show, to let them think they had defeated Hitler, while the real one remained safe in his grasp.

He turned his attention to the rest of the world, looking out from his tower at the ruins of civilization. The north was his domain, ruled with an iron fist, while the south was controlled by his rival, the madman Hitler. It was a delicate balance, but one that he had maintained for years. He had armies of super-soldiers, created from the DNA of the greatest warriors in history, and a host of powerful mutants at his command. No one could stand against him, not even the legendary Arthur and his band of heroes.

But there was something about Arthur that intrigued Genghis. He had seen the man in action before, had witnessed his strength and his willpower. There was something more to him than just physical power. Genghis could sense it, a raw energy that seemed to emanate from him. He wondered if it was something he could use, if he could harness it for his own purposes.

He sent out scouts to track the movements of Arthur and his companions, watching as they made their way across the wasteland. He had no intention of letting them reach his stronghold, but he wanted to see what they were capable of. He wanted to know what he was up against.

As the days went by, Genghis began to feel a sense of unease. Arthur and his companions were moving with a purpose, and they seemed to be getting stronger with each passing day. He knew that they were coming for him, that they intended to destroy his empire and restore order to the world. He couldn't let that happen, not after all he had sacrificed to build it.

He summoned his generals and his most trusted advisers, and they huddled together in his throne room, plotting their next move. They knew that Arthur and his companions would be coming soon, that they would face an army of super-soldiers and mutants unlike anything they had ever seen. But Genghis was confident in his power, in his ability to crush any opposition.

And yet, even as he sat on his throne, surrounded by his most loyal followers, he couldn't shake the feeling that something was coming for him. Something he couldn't see, something he couldn't control. He closed his eyes and focused his mind, searching for the source of the unease.

And then he felt it. A surge of energy, like a tidal wave, washing over him. He opened his eyes and looked up, just in time to see a figure descending from the sky, wings spread wide. It was Arthur, and he was glowing with an inner light that seemed to burn away the darkness around him.

Genghis rose from his throne, drawing his sword, and shouted for his men to attack. But they were too slow, too weak. Arthur moved with blinding speed, his fists striking like thunderbolts.
