"Hm, I believe Sean and Jeremy are acting strange."
Old Bradley sat down next to his wife. The tea time with his sons and grandsons ended. The men of the family leave the house after that.
Old Bradley loved his family. Unfortunately, he was too prideful to ask them to visit him every week or month. So he made an excuse and told them to report every quarter of the year.
On top of that, his wife loves drinking tea and just like him, she misses her children and grandchildren.
He was already done with business and he only bought properties here and there. To be honest, he had no idea what to do with those properties. Perhaps he would give them to his sons once he died.
"Why do you think so?"
Matilda smiled and put down the teacup. She was never good at reading people, she was not proficient at business either. In fact, she could only read a few words. She loved working in her garden because she was a farmer back then.
If possible, she wanted to rear horses but she was already too old for that. They hired a professional rearer for horses instead.
"My eyesight is too poor to see if Sean and Jeremy are acting strange," Matilda added.
"I can't explain it... I believe they are hiding something from me, no, they are hiding something from Ernesto."
"Well, you know Ernesto. He is a serious person. Although he has a complex about his status." Matilda sighed.
"Perhaps something related to their company? No, those two will not act like that if it's about their company. They have the ability to solve it."
Old Bradley deduced. Yet he was still far from the answer. He had few clues to make a guess.
"Maybe it's related to their youngest brother. Sigh, I miss Keith. I wonder where that kid is now? Do you think he's living well?"
"Matilda, that kid is already an adult. He should take responsibility for his life. I started from scratch, I believe Keith can do it as well."
"Here you are with your philosophy again. You are too though to your sons and grandsons, look what happened? Your two are always serious. It's a miracle that Sean and Maverick are living their lives happily. As for Jeremy... That kid inherited your stoic face!"
"But I'm handsome. That's why you chose me despite having dozens of suitors."
"Well, that's one too. Anyway, we are already too old. I believe you should be soft to your grandsons at least."
"Humph! They are already adults. I rather dote on the great-grandchildren instead!"
The older you get, the more stubborn you become.
Well, it was very hard to pamper adult men, not a good thing to imagine at all...
Old Bradley was honest about his feelings. Cute kids were good but once the kids turned into adults, he knew that there was no reason to dote on them. Especially when they were all.
"Perhaps our male genes are so strong that's impossible to have any girl born in the family."
Matilda just smiled. They were too old to think about it. They already live their lives and they provide their kids and grandchildren a wealthy life.
Of course, for an old woman, she sometimes thinks about having a granddaughter or great-granddaughter as well. She believed that once a baby girl was born in the family of Castillo, these men would start changing.
She was happy having daughter-in-laws and granddaughter-in laws, but it was very different if they had a granddaughter or great-granddaughter, because that baby girl was the fruit of the Castillo family.
"Let's go. The sun is going set."
The couple entered the mansion, quite happy that their family visited them again. For old people, seeing their children and grandchildren was a blessing.
"Say, if we are not rich... Are the kids going to love and respect us?"
Old Bradley just thought of an alternative timeline where the Castillo family was just a simple family.
"Bradley, if we are not rich, we are not going to reach this age of 85 and 83. We are going to die from overwork if we are not rich."
"You have a point."
In the first place, they were healthy because of money. Yes, money can buy you healthy and fresh food, it can buy you medicines, and you can hire talented doctors if you have money.

In another mansion of the Castillo family, Ernesto frowned when he received a call from a subdivision.
Ernesto just returned and decided to spend his time reading business-related news. He was not super proactive in the two companies since he could trust Jeremy and Sean. Even though his two sons had their own shortcomings, they were good at handling business. They knew what to do and he didn't need to teach them.
Besides, he had another business that he was trying to create.
"Hm, honey? Why are you frowning?"
"Nothing. Someone just called me. It's nothing big."
He assured his wife.
"Okay. Let's sleep now."
"Hm."
Ernesto nodded. He lay down next to his wife and embraced.
However, he could not help but remember what the caller said.
'Apparently, the homeowners of the subdivision called me because another family is living in the house. I already passed that property to Sean... Perhaps they can't contact Sean so they decided to call me.'
He thought. He believed that Sean recently sold the house to someone but the papers were still not settled.
'They called because the family are rearing chicken and ducks which is not allowed in the subdivision without approval...'
Suddenly, he became curious about the house.
