Chapter 196: Mother and Daughter Talk
"Mom!"
The little rabbit, lying on the ground, didn't care about the pain in her body. Instead, she gazed tearfully at the figure in front of her.
The woman, after a moment of confusion, gradually regained her senses. When she heard the familiar voice behind her, her entire body stiffened.
She quickly turned around, her eyes filled with tears as she looked at her daughter.
That's right, although the little rabbit had already transformed into a human and the transformation pill had concealed her soul beast aura, the mother still recognized her daughter at first glance.
"Xiao Wu?"
"Mom!"
Seeing her mother recognize her, Xiao Wu quickly stood up and moved in front of the woman. This time, she didn't throw herself onto her mother but instead gave her a gentle embrace.
"Xiao Wu, I'm so glad you're okay."
Ning Bei silently exited the room, leaving the two of them some time together. They probably had a lot of emotions to share, so he didn't want to stay and become a nuisance.
After an unknown amount of time, the little rabbit slowly opened the room's door. When she saw Ning Bei still standing outside, her eyes filled with gratitude, and she waved at him.
"Ning Bei, big brother, come in!"
Ning Bei waved his right hand, and the Dan Tower appeared. Then, Da Ming and Er Ming appeared in front of him.
The two looked at Ning Bei and Xiao Wu in confusion.
"What's going on, Brother Ning Bei?"
"Xiao Wu!"
Ning Bei didn't answer their confusion and directly greeted them into the room.
As soon as they entered, they saw a long-missed figure.
"Ruo Yi!"
"Auntie!"
The woman bowed deeply to Ning Bei, probably having heard about the events over the years from Xiao Wu.
Then, she turned to look at the two strong men in front of her. She could recognize her daughter due to their blood connection, but she had no way of recognizing Da Ming and Er Ming, who had no soul beast aura.
Da Ming, realizing the situation, quickly said:
"Auntie, I'm Da Ming!"
Er Ming was more direct, and without saying a word, he was about to transform into his original form. Ning Bei stepped forward and slapped him on the head.
"What are you thinking? Your original form would crush this place!"
Er Ming quickly stopped, scratching his head in embarrassment.
"Ruo Yi, I'm Er Ming!"
Xiao Wu smiled lightly, covering her mouth with a chuckle, and quickly explained to her mother:
"Mom, Da Ming and Er Ming joined the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Clan with me."
Then began a round of polite conversation. After such a long separation, there was always a lot to catch up on, from the polluted water in the Star Dou Forest to the harvest of carrots.
Ning Bei didn't disturb their reunion, quietly watching as they caught up.
After some time, the woman turned back to look at Ning Bei with gratitude in her eyes.
"Lord, I am forever grateful to you, Ruo Yi cannot thank you enough!"
Ning Bei waved his hand, signaling her not to be so polite.
"I treat Xiao Wu as my sister, Auntie doesn't need to be so formal!"
Xiao Wu's previously happy expression faded as soon as she heard him call her his "sister." Ruo Yi, being an experienced mother, immediately understood her daughter's feelings.
But she didn't rush. Her daughter had always been by Ning Bei's side, so there would always be opportunities in the future.
After chatting with Ning Bei for a while, Ruo Yi, whose form had become more ethereal, reluctantly glanced at her daughter.
"Xiao Wu, from now on, listen to your big brother Ning Bei more, okay? Don't be naughty!"
Xiao Wu knew it was time to part again, and tears began to fall down her cheeks.
"Mom, I don't want you to leave!"
"Silly child, I'm already happy just to see you, Da Ming, and Er Ming one more time. There's no need to force it."
Though she said this, Xiao Wu and the others still looked at Ruo Yi with sorrow, their hearts filled with reluctance.
Ning Bei rubbed his forehead. These people were overacting a bit too much.
"Hey, am I missing something here?"
"Huh?"
Xiao Wu turned back, confused, wondering what she had missed.
Ning Bei gave her an annoyed look.
"Auntie's soul bone is right here, and there are plenty of soul nurturing pills. If you want to see Auntie, just call her out!"
"Huh! Ning Bei, big brother, are you saying mom can come out more than once?"
"When did I ever say she could only come out once?"
"Eh! You didn't say that?"
Xiao Wu leaned back in shock and gave Ning Bei a look, realizing she hadn't heard that. Her sadness quickly turned into excitement as she turned to look at her mother.
"Mom, did you hear that? We can see each other every day from now on!"
Ruo Yi nodded happily, her gaze filled with tenderness as she looked at Xiao Wu.
"Wait, wait, wait!"
The group turned their attention back to Ning Bei, who was shaking his head in exasperation.
"What's wrong, Ning Bei, big brother? Didn't you just say we could see mom every day?"
"What are you thinking? Auntie is in a soul state when meeting you. Do you want her to come out every day and wander around, risking her soul fading away?"
"Ah! Then what should we do? Mom, please go back!"
Xiao Wu turned back to look at her mother anxiously, fearing her soul might vanish at any moment.
Ning Bei laughed and glanced at Xiao Wu, who had drooped again with visible disappointment.
"You can forget about seeing her every day."
"Just keep Auntie's soul bone, and I'll prepare more soul nurturing pills for you later."
"You saw how I activated the soul nurturing pill earlier. Just do it like that when the time comes."
"Once a week should be fine for seeing Auntie."
Upon hearing Ning Bei's explanation, Xiao Wu's gloomy expression turned bright again, and she smiled excitedly.
"Did you hear that, mom? We can meet every week from now on!"
Ruo Yi said nothing but looked at her daughter with a loving gaze. She reached out to pat her head, but realizing her current form, her hand froze in mid-air, a hint of sadness in her eyes.
Xiao Wu, who was normally not very perceptive, caught the hint of disappointment in her mother's eyes and, excitedly, ran to Ning Bei's side and tugged on his arm.
"Mom, Ning Bei, big brother said that he will be able to completely resurrect you in the future!"
Ruo Yi, along with Da Ming and Er Ming, was taken aback and looked at Ning Bei in disbelief, wanting to confirm if Xiao Wu's words were true.
Under the shocked gaze of the three, Ning Bei slowly nodded, confirming the truth of Xiao Wu's words.
Da Ming sucked in a cold breath. How could someone possibly resurrect someone or a soul beast who had been dead for nearly 20 years? What kind of existence would be needed to accomplish that?
However, thinking about Ning Bei being the successor of the Ice God, he began to feel this might actually be a reasonable thing.
Ruo Yi deeply bowed to Ning Bei again, and when she stood up, her eyes were filled with gratitude.
"Thank you so much, my lord. I don't know how to repay you."
Xiao Wu blinked and thought, "Can I offer myself to Ning Bei, big brother?"
Having been in the soul form for so long, Ruo Yi also began to feel a bit weary. After looking at Xiao Wu with a fond gaze, she didn't say anything more and transformed into pink light, returning to the soul bone to fall into a deep sleep.
After all, her daughter had Da Ming and Er Ming by her side, so she wouldn't be bullied. She just needed to rest and wait for the next meeting.

Chapter 197: The Promotion Tournament Begins
In the evening, the shopping team returned to the hotel, with Ning Rongrong angrily knocking on her sister's room door.
"Xiao Wu, why did you disappear halfway through the shopping?"
"Hey, Brother, what are you doing here?"
Ning Rongrong, who was about to scold her sister, found that her older brother was also in the room. Her gossiping heart immediately started to race.
Her eyes wandered ambiguously between her sister and her brother.
"Are you two up to something bad?"
Before Xiao Wu could explain, her face immediately turned bright red, like a cooked shrimp.
With a scream, she pounced on Ning Rongrong and began the full tickling attack.
"You little brat, I'm going to tear your mouth off so you stop saying nonsense."
"Hahaha, I was wrong, I was wrong, please let me go!"
Ning Bei helplessly shook his head, quietly watching the two sisters play around.
After a while, Ning Rongrong smoothed her wrinkled clothes and looked at her sister in confusion.
"By the way, why did you disappear halfway through the shopping?"
Ning Bei stepped forward and gave her a light knock on the head, then shot her a look.
Ning Rongrong groaned in pain and was about to complain to her brother when she received his gaze. She then glanced at her still red-eyed sister and seemed to understand that something had happened that she didn't know about.
She hurriedly walked up to Xiao Wu to apologize, and Xiao Wu waved her hand, not really minding. She then explained the situation to Ning Rongrong.
"So that's what happened, I should have paid more attention to your feelings earlier."
After understanding what happened, Ning Rongrong showed a hint of regret on her face.
Ning Bei sneered. Such an airhead, she only remembered shopping, of course she wouldn't notice the mood of others around her.
It seemed that Ning Rongrong felt Ning Bei's gaze, and she awkwardly shrank her neck. She then said that she would treat them to a big meal to make up for her previous mistake.
Xiao Wu happily accepted her sister's apology and then ordered a table full of food, which made Ning Bei and the others almost cry.
Time passed, and soon it was time for the promotion tournament to begin.
Early in the morning, Ning Bei led the little ones to the venue prepared by the Wuhun Hall.
At this moment, countless spectators had gathered outside the venue, eager to witness the grand event.
Ning Bei keenly noticed that the little cat in the group was tightly clenching her fists and looking towards the distance with a complicated expression.
Looking in the direction she was staring at, Ning Bei immediately understood. It was the area where the Star Luo Royal Academy was located.
As if feeling the little cat's gaze, a figure with an attractive figure from that team glanced over.
Upon meeting Zhu Zhuqing's gaze, the figure slightly furrowed her brows, then sneered and made a slicing motion across her throat with her hand.
Zhu Zhuqing tightened her fist even more, her body trembling. Although Ning Bei had helped her analyze Zhu Zhuyun's psychological state before, the bullying she had suffered at the Star Luo Empire was real.
Ning Rongrong and Xiao Wu also sensed the unrest from their sister and quickly looked over to see who it was.
"Who is that?"
The little rabbit asked her sister in confusion.
Ning Rongrong rolled her eyes and began her lesson.
"That's from Star Luo Royal Academy's team. The girl in the leather outfit is probably Zhu Qing's sister, and the guy with the golden hair is probably Dai Mubai's brother."
"So it's them, don't worry Zhu Qing, when we meet in the tournament, Sister Xiao Wu will definitely help you kick their butts, and make them pay for bullying you!"
After understanding the identity of the people, Xiao Wu confidently patted the little cat's shoulder, acting like a big sister.
Zhu Zhuqing gave her sister a grateful look, then shook her head.
"Thank you, Xiao Wu, but I want to handle the battle with them myself."
Xiao Wu wasn't surprised and showed a knowing expression. Ning Rongrong, who knew more, couldn't help but feel a bit worried.
"Zhu Qing, if I'm not mistaken, they should have the traditional Wuhun fusion technique from the Star Luo royal family, isn't it too..."
"Huh? They have a Wuhun fusion technique? Zhu Qing, maybe you should reconsider!"
Xiao Wu, who had been supporting her earlier, suddenly became worried and looked at the little cat with an expression full of advice.
Zhu Zhuqing gave her sister a confident smile.
"Don't worry, I have the world's best support behind me, don't I?"
With one compliment, Ning Rongrong's worries were all shattered. She beamed and patted her not-so-large chest.
"Don't worry, Zhu Qing, with me supporting you, you'll definitely win!"
"Okay, leave the other Star Luo team members to you."
Zhu Zhuqing nodded, then turned to Long Nianbing and the others.
The three little ones quickly nodded in agreement.
"Don't worry, Miss Zhu Qing."
"Yeah, yeah, watch how Sister Xiao Wu shows her power, no one will disturb you when you get your revenge!"
Ning Bei couldn't watch the little rabbit showing off any longer and gently patted her head.
"Be cautious, there are still many strong opponents in this tournament."
Feeling the large hand on her head, the little rabbit's face turned slightly red. She then avoided Ning Bei's gaze and muttered a "good."
Ning Bei found it odd. Why was the little rabbit being so obedient? Ever since he gave her her mother's soul bone yesterday, the way she looked at him had been a bit strange, but he couldn't pinpoint exactly what felt off.
Luckily, the tournament host didn't give Ning Bei a chance to dwell on it. After a brief opening speech, the host introduced the Pope, Bibi Dong, who slowly walked up to the high platform.
Still dressed in her elegant and luxurious attire, she had the commanding presence of someone looking down on the world from above.
After her speech, the promotion tournament officially began, and the entire venue erupted in excitement.
Bibi Dong's gaze swept across the entire venue. When her eyes met the Great Wet's gaze, she noticed he was staring at her with deep hatred, as if he wanted to skin her alive.
Bibi Dong merely glanced at him contemptuously, her gaze quickly moving on. When her eyes passed over the Tian Dou Empire's representative area, her eyes collided with Ning Bei's.
For some reason, the all-powerful Pope's gaze hesitated for a moment, and a faint blush appeared on her cheek.
Ning Bei felt a sense of curiosity. When her gaze returned to him, he mischievously puckered his lips.
Bibi Dong immediately gritted her teeth, cursing in her heart at the shameless person, gripping her scepter tightly.
For a moment, she didn't even notice the scepter deeply sinking into the ground. The two elders beside her, Ju and Gui, took a few steps back, distancing themselves from the Pope.
They didn't understand why a murderous aura suddenly surrounded her.
As the drawing began, the top three seeded teams—Tian Dou Royal Academy's first team, Star Luo Royal Academy's first team, and the Wuhun Hall battle team—were automatically qualified for the finals.
The Tian Dou second team's first-round opponent was a senior soul master academy from the Star Luo Empire.
The promotion tournament followed a one-on-one format, where each side would send one contestant to fight, and the losing side would send another contestant. The first team to have all seven members defeated would lose.
The promotion tournament only determined rankings and did not eliminate any teams.

Chapter 198: The First Battle of the Promotion Tournament
The match for the Huangdou Second Team was scheduled for the second slot in the afternoon. Since it was the first day of the tournament, no one returned to the hotel to rest; instead, they stayed at the venue to watch other teams compete.
By coincidence, the second match in the morning was between Shrek Academy and another team from the Star Luo Empire.
It had to be said—though the Shrek students' personalities left much to be desired, their strength was still impressive. They were able to carve out a path to victory against young soul masters who, on average, were five to eight years older than them.
When it was their turn to fight, Dai Mubai was the first to step up. The lecherous tiger easily pulled off a one-versus-three, and when the opponent's fourth Soul Sect came out, he even took him down in a mutual defeat. By himself, he managed to exhaust four members of the other team.
When the battle ended, Dai Mubai, panting heavily, walked toward the rest area. As he passed the Huangdou Second Team's section, he cast a deeply affectionate glance at the little kitten, as if his eyes were saying, "Did you see the effort I put in for you?"
That greasy look made the kitten's fur stand on end. She wished she could immediately give him a face-scraping session right there, but due to the setting, she could only let out a cold snort and turn her head away.
In the lecherous tiger's eyes, however, this only made him think she was shy, which stoked his passion even more. Even his steps leaving the stage became lighter.
"No wonder he's called the Great Pervert—his methods really work."
Next, Ma Hongjun, Jing Ling, and Tai Long took turns in the arena, securing Shrek Academy's victory in the first round of the promotion tournament. Tang San, the final member, let out a small sigh of relief.
The less he had to reveal about his soul ring configuration, the less mockery he would attract.
After Yu Xiaogang reviewed the match with his students, he led them up to the stands to watch the following matches.
The morning matches didn't produce any particularly eye-catching opponents, and Ning Bei was starting to doze off in his seat.
That was until he felt a complicated gaze fall upon him. He slowly opened his heavy eyelids and looked over.
The gaze came from the high platform—standing beside the Pope was a golden-haired beauty. It was none other than Hu Liena, whom he had met once before. Ning Bei chuckled softly and nodded at her. The little fox quickly averted her eyes, no one knew what she was thinking.
As Ning Bei turned his head in thought, a sudden pain shot from his waist, followed by the gritted-teeth voice of Dugu Yan in his ear.
"Stop flirting around! That woman screams trouble from a mile away—don't look at her!"
Ning Bei stared at his woman in surprise. Your instincts are spot-on.
After the morning matches ended and the group had lunch, it was time for the afternoon battles.
The Huangdou Second Team's match was in the second slot, and the stands were already packed with spectators who had heard of the powerhouse team, eager to witness the championship favorites in action.
The little rabbit looked at the two teams currently fighting in the arena with a face full of exasperation, thinking, Can these rookies pecking at each other hurry it up?
That's right—her hands had been itching for a fight for a while now, so she chose to be the first to go when their match came. Her teammates didn't argue; there would be plenty of matches later on.
Ning Rongrong, on the other hand, couldn't care less. This promotion tournament had nothing to do with her anyway—it's not like they'd send her up there to bash people with her pagoda!
Finally, their turn came. As the Huangdou Second Team took the stage, the audience from Heaven Dou City erupted in thunderous cheers.
They had witnessed this team's terrifying strength before.
"Miss Black Cat, scratch them to death!"
"Cleaver Bro, chop them up!"
"Piano Bro, keep playing, keep dancing!"
…
These strange nicknames made the younger members blush, but then again—anything was better than being called 'Fart King.'
The little rabbit stepped onto the stage first, eyes full of excitement.
But before three seconds had passed, her good mood was ruined by her opponent—a burly man in his early twenties from an unknown Star Luo Empire team. Upon seeing his opponent was a cute and soft-looking girl, he grinned mockingly.
"Hey, doesn't your Heaven Dou Empire have anyone else? You're sending a little girl like you to fight?"
Xiao Wu's face instantly darkened. She glared at him, already planning how she'd deal with him in a moment.
Completely oblivious to her expression, the man kept courting disaster.
"Sweetheart, do you need big brother to go easy on you later?"
The little rabbit's eyes flickered, and she immediately put on a sweet, fawning smile.
"Really? Big brother, you're so nice—you'd better go easy on me later."
She even tapped her lips with one finger and threw him a flirtatious glance.
The man's mind instantly wandered. He didn't even hear the referee announce the start of the match, too busy thinking about how he would 'go easy' on her.
The little rabbit didn't care about any of that. Activating her martial spirit, she shot toward him like a rabbit darting away, her five soul rings—one yellow, two purple, and two black—appearing in sequence.
The audience, most of whom had no idea about the team's soul ring configurations, were instantly blinded by the sight, gasping and pointing at the little rabbit.
"Good heavens—a Soul King!"
"And that ring configuration is terrifying!"
On the high platform, Bibi Dong, who had been sitting straight, immediately leaned forward, her eyes wide in shock at the sight of the little rabbit. Then she turned a displeased glare toward Ning Bei.
Ning Bei felt the burning gaze but kept his eyes fixed on the stage.
If I don't look at you, then you're not looking at me.
Bibi Dong bit her lip and leaned back into her seat again, though her expression made it clear she was far from pleased.
Hu Liena, stunned for several seconds, clenched her teeth and returned to her teacher's side.
"Teacher, don't worry. Even if she's also a Soul King, we won't lose."
At those words, Bibi Dong's smile returned, and she looked at the little fox with warmth.
"Nana, teacher believes in you."
The burly man facing the little rabbit didn't know whether it was her soul ring configuration or her beauty that stunned him, but by the time she reached him, he still hadn't made a move.
Xiao Wu didn't hesitate. The corners of her lips curled upward as she launched her attack.
"Eight-Stage Throw!"
A rabbit kick sent the man flying upward, followed by a dazzling flurry of spinning kicks.
After being treated like a ball in the air several times, the man crashed outside the ring, unconscious.
The other academy's members finally snapped out of their shock and rushed to carry their teammate away, casting complicated glances at the calm-faced little rabbit.
Now they understood why the Huangdou Second Team was called championship favorites—if the first person up was already a high-level Soul King, the rest of her teammates surely weren't far behind in strength.
Still, they weren't fated to see the other members' abilities this time.
The little rabbit easily completed a one-versus-seven, using her Eight-Stage Throw on everyone she faced. Against the opposing captain, she simply added a teleport before delivering the throw.
Her long legs left the unknown team completely disoriented. With all seven members unconscious, they slunk away from the arena in defeat.
The audience erupted in cheers for the little rabbit.
"Across the lands, Xiao Wu's the fairest!"
"Miss Rabbit is too strong—win again tomorrow!"
"Ah! Miss Xiao Wu, please kick me too!"
The little rabbit waved to the stands, happily returning to her team with all her earlier frustration gone.

Chapter 199: Tang San vs Huo Wu
After the first day of the tournament, Ning Bei led the group out of the venue.
As they passed by the Shrek Academy's section of the stands, Ning Bei felt the malicious gaze from Liu Erlong. He merely curled the corner of his lips into a slight smile, ignoring her and not even glancing at her as he led his team directly into the passage.
Ning Bei's indifferent attitude drove the Mother Tyrannosaurus almost mad. She had already been ignored twice today. Earlier, when they first entered, Liu Erlong had also glared fiercely at Bibi Dong on the high platform, but the latter had similarly ignored her, as if she didn't exist.
Being ignored was the greatest humiliation. Mother Tyrannosaurus trembled with rage and was about to approach Ning Bei to argue when Yu Xiaogang tightly grabbed her wrist and shook his head at her. This calmed her down and stopped her from making another move.
"Ning Bei, did you see how I dominated? One kick, one little kid down!"
On the way back, the little rabbit jumped and hopped around Ning Bei, bragging about her performance.
Ning Bei smiled and glanced at her but didn't pour cold water on her. He patted the little rabbit's head.
"Very impressive, their faces are full of high heel marks!"
Feeling the gentle pat on her head, the little rabbit slightly restrained her playful demeanor, but the happiness on her face couldn't be hidden.
"There won't be any strong opponents these next few days. Just be careful when we face Shenfeng Academy in three days."
Long Nianbing flipped through the upcoming match schedule and calmly informed her teammates.
Ning Rongrong curled her lips.
"Let's hope they don't surrender again."
The little rabbit immediately became upset when she heard that. It was Shenfeng Academy that led the way with their forfeiture in the pre-qualifying rounds, making the other teams follow suit. Now, were they going to do the same again?
"Are they really going to forfeit in the promotion match?"
Ning Rongrong shot her a look, seemingly saying, "Why are you so surprised?"
"How fresh, right? The promotion match doesn't eliminate teams, and knowing them, it's normal for them to forfeit again to preserve their strength!"
To vent her frustration, the little rabbit had decided to teach Shenfeng Academy a lesson when they met in the promotion match. But now, learning that their plan might be ruined, her rabbit ears drooped in disappointment.
"It's okay, with the strength of their academy, making it to the finals is almost a done deal. There will still be a chance."
Seeing her big sister's dejected mood, Da Wei hurriedly comforted her.
Sure enough, hearing this, the little rabbit immediately regained her spirits.
"Really? That's great! When the time comes, Xiao Wu will definitely kick their butts."
The following matches went as expected, with Xiao Wu easily completing a one-versus-seven against two small academy teams.
Her title of "Soft Bone Charm Rabbit" resonated throughout Wuhun City, becoming the brightest star of the first half of the promotion tournament, perfectly satisfying the little rabbit's vanity.
Every time after winning, she would proudly come to Ning Bei, and he didn't hesitate to praise her. For several days, the little rabbit walked around with her tail held high.
Dugu Yan had been watching Xiao Wu's performance, and as a woman, she knew exactly what Xiao Wu was thinking.
Even so, she didn't say much. Dugu Yan didn't believe that Ning Bei was someone she could keep to herself.
But even though she thought this way, the jealous part of her still launched a few of her self-created soul skills at Ning Bei, and the soft flesh around his waist had been swollen for days. Fortunately, he had the ability to apply ice at any time.
The fourth day of the tournament arrived, and as expected, Shenfeng Academy forfeited.
"Refund!" The shout echoed through the stands once more. Even though the little rabbit had already anticipated Shenfeng Academy might forfeit, she was still so angry she stomped her feet. How could she go to Ning Bei now to take credit for her victories?
Shenfeng Academy's team members were confused, wondering why the little rabbit was glaring at them. In their minds, the Royal Dou Academy's second team should be happy about winning without a fight.
That afternoon, Shrek Academy faced off against the Blaze Fire Academy.
When the two teams met in the preliminaries, Tang San had been thoroughly taught a lesson by Huo Wu, a Soul King from Blaze Fire Academy, because they had lost the Fire Immunity ability granted by the Fierce Fire Apricot Jiao Shou.
Countless Blue Silver Grasses turned into the best fuel for Blaze Fire Academy, and the fire blazed on the arena. After the victory, Huo Wu gave Tang San a disdainful smile, and the Tang God King almost sentenced her to death right then and there.
This time in the promotion tournament, the process of the match didn't change much, only switching from team battles to individual wheel wars.
Aside from Dai Mubai taking the lead and defeating two Blaze Fire Academy members, Huo Wu, as a level 43 Battle Soul King, immediately completed a one-versus-six.
Tai Long, Jing Ling, Huang Yuan, and even a substitute soul master pulled from the Blue Tyrant Academy were no match for her.
Ma Hongjun, still a Soul Master, didn't stir up any waves.
Finally, Huo Wu crossed her arms, sneered, and said to Tang San:
"You should just go down, I don't want to roast any more Blue Silver Grass."
Tang San's face turned cold. This woman definitely deserved to die. She had humiliated him so many times that she had crossed the line.
If not for the fact that his hidden weapons couldn't be used, would she have had a chance to show off here?
Determined, he thought to himself that even if it meant exposing the Clear Sky Hammer, he would make sure to hammer this woman's head, especially aiming at that annoying mouth of hers.
"It's time to see who's stronger."
As the referee's signal started, Tang San's eyes flashed with a hint of purple, and his body disappeared like the wind.
Blue Silver Grass had no way of dealing with a fire-type soul master. After suffering once, Tang San didn't even bother to release his Wuhun this time. Instead, like a ghost, he closed the distance to Huo Wu.
Huo Wu was startled. This approach was completely different from the preliminary match.
Before Huo Wu could react, Tang San was already behind her. He activated his soul bone skill and locked onto her.
"Golden Snake Binding!"
The hundred-year-old crafty snake soul bone skill activated, and Tang San's right arm, like it had lost its bones, wrapped around Huo Wu's body, tightly locking her in place and gripping her neck.
Tang San's arm, which was wrapped around her, showcased Huo Wu's beautiful figure to the fullest.
Male spectators in the stands were having a feast for their eyes, whistling loudly, while female spectators blushed and scolded him for being a rogue.
Within the stands, Feng Xiaotian from Shenfeng Academy and Huo Wushuang below the arena began to glare with increasingly dangerous eyes.
"Admit defeat, I don't want to hurt you."
Huo Wu, held tightly by Tang San, felt ashamed. But then, her anger flared up, gritting her teeth and cursing:
"You damn rogue, you're looking for death, Third Soul Skill, Fire Ring Resistance!"
The third purple soul ring above her glowed, and fire rings began to spread from Huo Wu's body.
Tang San's eyes flickered with surprise, and he hurriedly released his extended arm, using Ghost Shadow to retreat several dozen meters.
The fire rings brushed past his hair, narrowly missing him.
However, having been taken advantage of, Huo Wu wasn't about to back down. She wasn't going to just let him off for using underhanded methods and coming at her with such shamelessness.

Chapter 200: Huo Wu's Miserable Defeat
"Second Soul Skill, Explosive Flame Burn."
Huo Wu and the Fire Shadow behind her both extended their palms forward, and endless flames surrounded Tang San, creating a burning inferno, with an intense momentum as if they wouldn't stop until they burned him half to death.
Tang San's face remained calm as he thought carefully, calling out his Blue Silver Grass, parasitizing the Blue Silver Turtle Shield and continuously activating it. Numerous shields formed a large Blue Silver ball that enclosed Tang San, and then he quickly rolled out of the sea of fire.
Once he was out of the fire, the Blue Silver Grass was burned into pieces, and with his Wuhun's attribute being at a disadvantage, Tang San didn't dare to drag the fight on. He once again charged toward Huo Wu.
Huo Wu was immediately taken aback. She didn't expect him to break free from the intense fire that had surrounded him.
While she was momentarily distracted, Tang San executed his strategy of striking when the enemy was tired and retreating when the enemy retreated, disturbing her in the process.
Once he closed in on Huo Wu, he used the Golden Snake Bind to bind her, and as soon as Huo Wu snapped back into her senses and attempted to launch another flame attack, he would use Ghost Shadow to retreat far away.
This happened repeatedly. With Huo Wu continuously using her third soul skill, she exhausted a great deal of soul power. Meanwhile, her attractive figure had the audience enjoying the view.
This infuriated her to the point of nearly losing control but she couldn't do anything to stop it.
"You damn mutt, stay away from me! Dare to fight me directly!"
"Hmph, it's just tactics. You can only rely on the advantage of your Wuhun to show off. Winning with brains, like me, is the real way."
"Ah!!!!"
After being bound again, Huo Wu screamed in frustration.
The spectators in the stands cast sympathetic looks at her. Any woman would go crazy facing such shameless tactics.
"I'm going to kill you!"
Huo Wu glared with bloodshot eyes at the retreating Tang San, her eyes filled with killing intent. Her fourth soul ring began to resonate.
"Fourth Soul Skill: Huo Wu's Sunflare!"
Huo Wu raised her arms, and a massive fireball condensed above her head. Once her soul power accumulated, she angrily hurled the fireball toward Tang San.
Tang San smiled slightly. Such a clumsy attack wants to hit me? I think you're dreaming.
Easily dodging the fireball, Tang San was ready to approach and unleash the Golden Snake Bind again, but just as he made his move, the fireball behind him seemed to have a mind of its own, turning around and attacking him once again.
Tang San's pupils dilated. He quickly sidestepped the attack again.
"Useless, Huo Wu's Sunflare is a homing soul skill. Kneel and beg for mercy, or just wait to die!"
As Huo Wu finished speaking, the fireball turned again and flew straight toward Tang San, proving that she was telling the truth.
Tang San, feeling a headache, squinted his eyes as he dodged the fireball while thinking about his next move.
"Useless, Huo Wu's Sunflare won't stop until it hits its target. Kneel down now."
Huo Wu stood in the center of the arena with her arms crossed, sneering at Tang San, who was dodging and weaving.
Tang San ignored her taunts. After dodging the fireball again, his eyes lit up as if he had thought of something, and he immediately charged at Huo Wu.
Huo Wu froze for a moment, then seemed to realize something and began retreating rapidly, her expression showing some fear.
"Don't come near me!"
Tang San ignored her warning and, with the speed of lightning, dashed behind Huo Wu. The Golden Snake Bind activated again, trapping her firmly in place.
Huo Wu was immediately furious, throwing her head back and yelling.
"You damn *&^%$@!"
Halfway through her curse, the fireball reached them. With no other choice, Huo Wu once again used her third soul skill, Fire Resistance Ring, knocking Tang San back while also blocking the Sunflare's attack.
However, the fourth soul skill was too powerful. One Fire Resistance Ring wasn't enough to stop the attack, and after several more Fire Resistance Rings, the arena finally settled down from the burning heat.
Gasping for breath, Huo Wu felt the fire of anger in her chest threatening to consume her. She turned to yell but froze when she saw Tang San's annoying face just inches away from hers.
"Golden Snake Bind!"
As expected, Huo Wu was once again thoroughly bound.
"Let… go… of me!"
Her gritted teeth didn't faze Tang San, who coldly replied:
"Admit defeat, your soul power is exhausted."
"Hmph, so what? You've bound me, but that doesn't mean you've won!"
Forcing Huo Wu to admit defeat was harder for her than killing her. Tang San had no other choice, and the two of them stood on the arena, facing off in a strange standstill.
Yet, the occasional whistling sounds from the audience made Huo Wu's face turn from green to white.
"Even if you win this match, your team is already doomed. I still have four teammates left!"
"Hmph, so what? I'll win, and so will my team."
Remembering the scornful look Huo Wu gave him after losing in the pre-qualifications and the humiliation she had heaped upon him before this match, Tang San was determined to not let her take victory from him.
"I'll say it one last time, admit defeat."
He tightened his grip on the Golden Snake Bind, his voice cold again.
"Go to hell, I'll never admit defeat!"
Huo Wu's stubbornness made her refuse to budge, and Tang San's expression twisted with frustration.
"Then don't blame me."
At these words, a trace of panic flashed across Huo Wu's face. The position they were in had become awkward, and she feared Tang San would take things even further.
"What… what do you want to do?"
"Hmph, you forced me. Soul Bone Technique: Piggy Heaven Fart."
With a muffled sound, a wave of eerie green poisonous gas slowly spread from the two of them, expanding across the entire arena in less than three seconds.
Surrounded by the toxic gas, Huo Wu, unable to move, immediately turned pale, foam trickling from her mouth as her eyes rolled back, her pupils dilated.
"Ugh" "Ugh" "Ugh" "Ugh"
Huo Wu kept dry heaving, but she couldn't utter the words to admit defeat. Tang San didn't dare release her yet.
"Let me go!" "Ugh"
From below the stage, Huo Wushuang saw his sister nearly fainting and rushed to the edge of the arena, yelling at Tang San. But he too was quickly overwhelmed by the toxic gas and started gagging.
Slowly, the toxic gas spread to the edges of the stands, and the sounds of people gagging echoed.
Some of the spectators from Heaven Dou City, sitting in the back rows, covered their mouths and chuckled.
"Heh, good thing we're smart and got back seats."
"Yeah, who's messing with the Fart King?"
"That smell, I'll never forget it!"
"This audience is still too young!"
"Tsk, tsk, this woman is so pitiful."
From afar, Ning Rongrong looked at the unconscious Huo Wu and clicked her tongue.
"Yeah, even if she survives, she'll have psychological scars."
"Her overzealous competitive spirit is the cause of her downfall!"
Long Nianbing and the others shook their heads, full of sighs. This loss was silent and devastating.
As everyone lamented Huo Wu's fate, Nami quietly approached Ning Bei and tugged at his sleeve.
"Master."
"What's up, Nami?"
"How come that person knows Ghost Shadow and Purple Extreme Magic Eyes too?"
"Oh? Don't worry about it, he learned it secretly. Don't let him know you can do the same. He's been secretly killing those who also know those techniques."
Nami was slightly startled but nodded obediently, signaling that she wouldn't expose it.
Ning Bei chuckled inwardly. After all, calling the little bastard a secret learner wasn't wrong.
