"I-I don't think I introduced myself; I am Ra-" The officer tried to say his name, but I stopped him.
"Wait, no, no, no, please, no, I don't quite forget names, Chinese and Korean names are already a handful; you think Alien names are easy to forget? I have a problem of remembering everything, please don't tell me your name," I pleaded with him. "I will just call you Officer. Martian. I am Allen; this little division of ours is Probing Bloodhounds; I didn't pick the name; our leader over there did; I hate the name as well."
I probably overplayed my part, I can feel those stares on me... Good thing that the officer is convinced. Crowley is a great teacher when it comes to anger control. However, I still worry about the children... I don't know how much he can control his anger in front of children, they can get rather annoying at times. I should check on him later; those kids need to suffer correctly, but if it's him, he might just turn them all into sheep for four to eight hours just to teach them a lesson.
"Ok... I will send you the details in your Ark device," the officer said, clearly bothered by my words. "Can you give me your codex details?"
Ark device work as a communication device, as well as an information and entertainment provider. The Ark device are installed in our system interface and can't be hacked into by anyone unless they share the same genetic information as someone else.
"Oh, don't worry about that; I got it already," I said.
But in my case...
"What do you mean by that?" The officer asked when an interface popped up in front of his eyes with the words [Your Ark device has been hacked.]
I could just hack into his Ark device by copying his genetic information with my TWG, and then hack into it easily.
"That would be me... Don't worry I had a permit for that," I explained, smiling. 'I have always wanted to do that.'
'Of course, he has a permit,' both Tommy and Sylvia thought at the same time.
"There is a permit for this?" The officer asked, looking in Tommy's direction, clearly confused by everything that was happening after we arrived.
"Apparently, the government did give out certain permits for stuff like these to some advanced hackers and he was one of them," Sylvia explained, finally speaking after she walked inside the station. Honestly, her cold attitude doesn't match her nature, so it was her perfect disguise.
'... What kind of mess did I get myself into? I just got transferred to Earth this week, why is my bad luck already here?' the officer thought to himself.
After getting what we needed, we headed to a hotel near the dock, which was a clue, given to us by Paragon. They told us to check this hotel since there were several reports of the hotel not being able to provide any cold water to its customers.
"What does cold water have to do with vampires, again? I missed Holborn's class last time because of a certain someone telling me to remember a book full of 398 pages in a day," Sylvia asked, looking a bit enraged.
"Vampires have cold bodies that are similar to the dead, their bodies adjust well in the cold but their usual preference for baths is hot water since they are also cold-blooded and can't generate any body heat by themselves," I explained, looking at my watch, it was 1 pm already, before I started to walk away from the hotel. "Well, we are staying here tonight; stay vigilant, we can't let those vamps get the better of us in any way."
"Where are you going?" Tommy asked, looking in my direction.
"I... Well... Just familiarising myself with the roads, in case I got lost," I answered nervously.
"You are going to a winery," Sylvia said, looking towards the southwest side of the hotel. "You just got in this town and yet you are already planning to go to a winery?"
"Alfred wouldn't let me bring along any wine with me, what am I supposed to do? I need to stock up a bit before we go back to Paragon; we don't even know how much time we will take on this mission. What if some crazy shit happens and everything is solved within a day?" I asked, wondering how she figured it out so quickly.
"If there was a female version of Alfred, that would be her," Ryuk commented.
'What kind of weird comparison is that?' I asked.
"Once again, those things only happen in novels, and secondly you are addicted to wine," Sylvia stated.
"Actually, I agree with him, I also need to stock up a bit," Tommy said, agreeing with me.
"... Do whatever you want, I will check us in the hotel," Sylvia replied, walking away towards the hotel.
"She is totally fed up at this point," Tommy said, looking at her. "By the way, why are we going to the winery and not the bar? Are you planning to buy barrels?"
"How else am I gonna stock up on it? Wally can store it all in his pocket dimension," I said. 'Well I suppose I will also stock up more of it in my Sage Realm, but he doesn't need to know about that.'
"It's my first time seeing someone use their Sage Realm to store their wine," Ryuk stated. "What next are you planning to store a wine factory in there as well?"
'Its not a bad idea,' I replied.
