One day, the Piercing Howl Sect 17th Generation Disciples visit the Windy Sky City in order to do their mandatory missions. And that is monster hunting. The Monster Stampede gave the land full of monsters roaming around the outskirts of the city. The City Folk already liked the Piercing Howl Sect for their bravery and heroism, especially for a Senior Disciple named Dokja, the 15th Generation Disciple.
The Disciples are sometimes having a fun timr whenever they are free to play in the City. Some of them even manage to enter a gambling den just to have fun. Dokja meets up with the Commander and Hero of the Windy Sky City, Yang Weilong, in Rose Tea Restaurant.
"It's been a long time, my friend." said Dokja in a friendly tone." Dokja salutes and bows to Dokja. "My lord, the City is safe thanks to your benevolence." Yang Weilong said happily. Dokja is a little bit flustered but accepted his thanks. Dokja and Yang Weilong have a casual chat about their daily lives. Both of them are surprisingly similar as a Superior who guides the students to become better.
Dokja takes a sip of his booze then asked, "Do you remember that strange lady named Jessica Torrez?" Yang Weilong replied, "Yes. She does live near the northern gate outside the city. She is currently working as a farmer." Dokja did not expected that Jessica is a farmer. To be fair, Jessica was wearing something that isn't a farmer's clothes.
Dokja then asked what Jessica was doing. Yang Weilong did not hesitate to lay out Jessica's routine. Farming, Selling, and Cooking crops. That is just Yang Weilong's perspective because he only visited Jessica once. Their mealtime is finished, but Dokja never ate any food. Only drinking Daisy Goblet Booze he brought with him. It is a healthy drink that warms the body in order to remove any impurity out.
Dokja wanted to know if there is any missions available in the City so that the Disciples can train their techniques and earn their keep. Yang Weilong happily shares the information about the monsters outside the Windy Sky City, which are graded from E to A. This will benefit for the both of them. The City will be much safer and the Sect will have Beast Cores available that will help them for their cultivation.
"Fancy meeting you here." said Jessica. Dokja got surprised. He didn't feel Jessica at all. Yang Weilong on the other hand, is welcoming Jessica nicely. "Have a fun time you two. I am still teaching the chefs how to use Potatoes." said Jessica as she head downstairs. Dokja looks at Yang Weilong and asked about the "Potatoes" Jessica mentioned. Yang Weilong described the Potato as Earth Fruit, which grows under the earth. It is as fulfilling as rice. The stew that he ate contained Carrots, Tomatoes, Onions, Bell Peppers, Pork and Potatoes. Now that he thinks about it, the Rose Tea Restaurant may had become popular 2 years ago thanks to Jessica's Teachings. Dokja is truly impressed. "I wonder if I can recruit that Mortal to become a Cultivator." he wondered.
