The man was left speechless.
Evan Fairchild suddenly tightened his grip.
"Ah! It hurts, it hurts, it hurts!" the man immediately screamed.
None of the bystanders felt any pity for him.
"Is he a kidnapper?"
"Definitely! Thank goodness the kid's dad showed up in time. Otherwise, the consequences would have been unthinkable."
"Sir, you should call the police! You can't let someone like him get away."
Ian Monroe listened to what everyone was saying, then looked up at Evan Fairchild and suddenly declared, "I don't know him, either!"
The crowd was stunned!
'He doesn't know him? But the two of them so clearly look like father and son!'
"You're Ian Monroe, right?" Evan Fairchild asked.
Ian Monroe was a little surprised.
"I know your mother," Evan Fairchild explained patiently.
'This child is so guarded. He probably won't trust me so easily.'
"No! Don't try to trick me!" Ian Monroe pointed a small finger at Evan Fairchild. "You're even worse than he is!"
