(After Ji Soo was demonically attacked, she remained unconscious and was taken to the hospital).
24 HOURS LATER:
Ji Soo opened her eyes and found herself lying in the room all alone. The door creaked open, and her grandmother entered the room with a hot case filled with soup. As soon as she learned that Ji Soo had opened her eyes, she called the doctor. "Ji Soo, can you recognize me and her", the doctor asked. Ji Soo nodded her head and said, "I'm hungry, grandma". Listening to Ji Soo, her grandmother shed tears of joy and heaved a sigh of relief. She was kept in the hospital for the next two days and was discharged.
On Thursday Ji Soo woke up at the sound of the alarm and as usual she dragged herself to the washroom. She looked up at the mirror and found herself pale. "Ah, I've lost some weight", she thought to herself. "Ji Soo, why don't you stay at home today?", her grandmother suggested. She looked at her food for a while and said, "Grandma, I have lots of homework to complete".
She dragged herself towards the school gate where she usually would've been stopped and scolded by the disciplinary in-charge but today, he felt bad and instead he asked, "Ji Soo how are you feeling?", to which she responded, "I'm fine". The in-charge felt something was weird, but he couldn't specifically point out what.
The school continued normally until the third period when Ji Soo was attacked out of the blue. She was busy copying her friend's notes when she felt someone staring at her. As soon as she turned to face the eyes she blacked out. Ji- Soo blinked her eyes twice but still everything around her was pitch black. Her bench mate noticed her and called out to her, but she did not respond as she could not listen. Ji- Soo fell on the floor and everyone yelled to her, "Ji- Soo", "Han Ji-Soo", but she could not hear. Ji Soo on the other hand sees a woman with pale skin without eyes walking towards her. A loud shriek was all they could hear, and Ji Soo stopped breathing. Her classmates panicked and went to call for help. The class teacher was so scared that she started rubbing her hands. "Let's carry her to the nurse room", her friend suggested. It took four people to carry her as she had turned very heavy.
The nurse tried to feel her nerves, but she could not. She thought to herself, "Oh god, this kid has passed away", but soon Ji Soo started breathing again. However, Ji Soo did not open her eyes. After her breathing was stabilized her grandmother was called, and she was told about the whole scenario. At 5:00 P.M Ji Soo's parents gave a call, and they were informed about her situation, but her grandmother assured her mother that it was all due to stress. There was a moment of silence between them, and her mother hung up the phone. As Ji Soo's grandmother was an old soul her inclination towards religion or faith made her sought out the Shamans for help.
The next day her grandmother called a shaman at their house. The neighbors after realizing what the kid was going through had no sympathy instead a malicious rumor about her mental illness started spreading around. Ji Soo's clothes and her birth chart with eight characters written were given to the Shaman but even after trying very hard the shaman could not find out the real cause. So, he concluded that the kid was either acting or was suffering from a mental illness. Ji Soo's grandma knew how grave the situation was and her intuition told her that there was something more than what meets the eye, but she decided to take Ji Soo to a psychiatrist.
A thorough examination was conducted but the result showed that she was mentally very healthy. Hence, the doctor concluded that the stress of the studies might have triggered her.
After that day the incidents became more violent and she started seeing a woman, but she decided not to tell anyone. On certain occasions a hand would grasp her arms while on the other occasions a black figure would stand at the corner. She had also started hearing whispers and she would frequently dream about a woman being surrounded by a lot of women with a man in the middle forcing her to drink something. Ji Soo would observe this scenario, but she would not stop any of them and when she would turn to go back everyone would ask her to carry a woman with no eyes. She would wake up to the same nightmare at 2:01 A.M every day.
Ji Soo went from a very lively and naughty girl to a very silent one. She started distancing herself from people and even her grandma. Oftentimes she would be found wondering to herself whether these things were just her imagination but when night fell, she had to live it all again every day.
