I quieted myself and then took a bath and put on clean clothes. After that I came to the kitchen. The cartons of milk bought for Blossom were just like that. I made tea from one of the carton's milk, then made a bread and had breakfast.
" I will do anything to prove myself strong." I said to myself. "But it there is role of thousands of people to make one man brave. I don't even have one man's support. I'm tired now patting my shoulders with my own hands. Well, I will do for myself what other parents do for them.
I wish I had never started this journey. But now all these things are of no use. I had made the right decision for myself and it is foolish to regret the right decisions." I said talking to myself.
"Leave it all." I said while wrapping the dishes. After washing the dishes, I came back to my bed and lay down. I was lost in the valley of thoughts. I wanted to cry a lot, but I braced myself. 'After all, what does it matter if I am alone or with someone?' I thought of going to sleep so that I could get up later and go to the village and get admission in a good school. Now I just want to study. And one day I have to do something great and special for my country and for myself. But the sleep seemed to be lost from me. I got up and sat on the chair next to the table. I grabbed the pencil and started writing:
(From previous)"As I said I have a friend. That is wrong because it is no longer with me either. Actually when I found it, it was in a very bad condition. Its wound was bleeding. I felt It must have been an injury. So I bandaged it myself. But I came to know the truth now. Actually, it had a disease. That's why its owner left it alone. Maybe it didn't want me to leave it too. That's why it hid its pain. The external wound was healed, but how much pain it suffered inside, I can't imagine. It probably didn't tell me because my heart would sink into grief again when I found out that my only friend was also standing on the brink of death. Well, now it is only Blossom who knew what the real thing was."
I wrote this, flipped the pages and came out.
There was nothing in parterre except Blossom's grave. I locked the house and went out to find plant seeds. There were many kinds of flowers and plants on the hills. I collected some small plants and seeds and came back with them.
I first cleaned the parterre well and then planted the plants and seeds in it. After that I sat there for a long time. When I started to get up, there was a gust of wind and from somewhere a cherry blossom flower came upon Blossom's grave while soaring.
"I will definitely plant a blossom tree near you." I said with a smile. I came back inside. I put some necessary things and money in my bag and after saying goodbye to Blossom, I left alone towards the village.
I had to do many things like enrolling myself in school, finding a job and buying some household essentials. I also wanted to buy a bicycle. Because I wanted to go to school on my bicycle and for that I needed money. I walked slowly and entered the settlement after about half an hour. I first went straight to grandma who sold me the home. I entered the shop and found her alone drinking tea.
"Peace be upon you". I greeted and quietly stood aside to listen to her answer.
"Peace be upon you too. Come and sit here. You have come in the cold. I will bring you tea."She looked at me with loving eyes and said.
"No, don't worry. I just came to give you this money. I didn't pay the full amount that day." I said while taking out the money from my coat pocket.
"No. Keep sitting. Don't you see that I am alone here? Can't you understand my pain?"
Hearing this, I hesitated but did not say anything. After some time, she brought me tea.
"Don't confuse your brain." She said with a smile.
"I saw you with your cat that day....."
She had just said so much that I had to speak. "Please, don't make me feel that I need anyone's sympathy."
"This is not compassion. This is the the love of one human being for another human being. You are still young. You can't understand all this. She said comforting me.
"Does any girl like me have a life like mine," I objected.
"Daughter, there are thousands of innocent people like you in this world who have to live their lives alone. She explained to me.
"I left my family alone. How could I tell her this? I know that it is not quite right for me to say why my life is like this. Or why I haven't found my lovers. Every listener will say that I set fire to my own happiness." I thought to myself.
"What happened daughter? Drink your tea." It will get cold.
I shook myself and started drinking tea. After drinking tea, I asked her, "Whose stuff is there in that house? Will they come to get it?"
"The goods are now yours. Maybe that house itself is like hell for someone now. No one will take it back from you." She replied.
"Let's be thankful." I got up after saying this. I greeted her and came out of the shop. I wandered around for a long time and then came to the uncle of same tea stall. I greeted him and then sat next to a table. He seemed a bit sad to me.
"What happened?" I asked him, gesturing with my hand.
"Nothing. Are you still sitting here for no reason?" He asked.
"No. I need job. Will you give me?" I said to him.
"Go somewhere else. I don't have enough money for myself, where will I give it to you? He bowed his head and said."
'Oh, that's why he is worried.' I thought to myself.
"Well, I will still work. You pay me or not." I said brazenly.
"What do you mean? Why should I take someone's favor?" He said angrily.
"No, it's not like that. Actually, I spend my free time at work. Just because I am saying this."
I spoke whatever came to my tongue.
"I will come to work from tomorrow." After saying this, I ran outside without hearing anything from him. Then I proceeded towards the school, reached there and talk to the principal. I took the entrance test. After passing the test, he agreed to admit me to the school. But when they asked for my father's identity card and my registration card , I became worried. But still I said that I will bring it tomorrow.
I was walking in a state of great anxiety, when suddenly I thought of uncle of tea stall. I went to him again and begged him to make me his fake daughter. At first he didn't agree but when I told my sad story, he agreed. I got a photocopy of his identity card and gave it to the school and asked for five days' respite for the B-form. Uncle (whose name was Afan) asked me to wait for four to five days for B-form.
