My mother started speaking again,
"As soon as the gate was opened, my heart started racing even faster. The old lady on the roof, the laughter of children and the feeling of being watched made me uneasy. My friends were trying to calm me down but their words were not reaching me. I was frozen in fear.
We walked inside the house, trying to explore the place. But I couldn't shake the feeling that something was not right. I was constantly looking around, searching for any signs of the family that I had seen earlier. But I couldn't find anything. The house was silent, and the atmosphere was heavy with an eerie feeling.
As we walked further into the house, I heard a strange sound, like someone was walking behind us. I turned back, but there was no one there. I told my friends about the sound, but they thought I was just imagining things. They continued to explore the house, but I couldn't shake the feeling of being watched.
I tried to leave the house, but the door wouldn't open. I tried to call out for help, but my voice was muffled. I was trapped in the house, and I had no idea what was happening. My friends were nowhere in sight, and I was alone in the haunted house.
I don't know how long I was there, but eventually, I found a hidden door that led me out of the house. I was relieved to be outside, but I was also scared. I had no idea what had happened to my friends, and I was afraid they were still trapped inside the house.
I decided to go back to the city and get help. As I walked back, I realized that the trip that was meant to bring us closer and make memories for life had turned into a nightmare. A mistake that we all would regret for the rest of our lives"
