Nellie Haines chased inside and shouted at Nancy Norris.
"Hey, who are you! Did you come to the wrong place?"
Nancy Norris ignored her and took a small stroll around the house.
"Four bedrooms, two living rooms, with a small yard. There's a playground right outside, a hospital and school nearby, and very convenient transportation."
"If you buy this house in full, it'll cost at least ten million, and if you rent it, it's at least nearly twenty thousand a month."
Lily heard Nellie calling, turned off the stove, and came out of the kitchen. She sized up Nancy Norris before speaking up.
"Who are you looking for?"
Nancy Norris turned her head towards Lily, looking at her with a gaze close to disdain.
"You are Bertha's adoptive mother, right?"
Lily instantly became nervous: "You are?"
Nancy Norris: "My surname is Norris."
