Jerry dashed in just in time to witness the scene before him.
Nancy pinned Bertha down on the sofa, her little face flushed bright red due to the grip on her throat, her legs kicking erratically, as if she was about to lose breath any moment.
"Bertha!"
Jerry hurried over, trying to pull Bertha off Nancy, fearful she might actually choke her to death.
"Let go! Let go now!"
But Bertha was like a rock; no matter how hard Jerry pulled, she wouldn't budge.
It wasn't until Ivan arrived in response to the commotion that Bertha was pulled away.
"Cough... Cough..."
Having narrowly escaped the clutches of danger, Nancy gasped for air, followed by a bout of coughing, her eyes flushed red with anger as she glared at Bertha.
