Arriving at the school, Polly Sutton quickly went upstairs, worried about how Tommy was doing after being so scared earlier.
As Polly opened the door, Tommy rushed over, hugging her tightly and bursting into tears, even though his voice was hoarse by now.
Seeing her return, Jonathan Jones greeted her before leaving.
Benny wasn't as openly emotional as Tommy. Victor Parker crouched down, pulling him close. Seeing him holding back his emotions, he hugged him proactively. Benny's small body trembled slightly, but his little hand slowly gripped Victor's clothing.
"Mommy told me, you're a very brave child."
"I'm not scared at all." Benny pursed his lips, acting tough, his stubborn little face making even himself feel embarrassed.
Victor pinched his cheek, "But Daddy still wants to thank you for saving my life, though it's a pity..."
