Hayes sneaked a glance and then heard someone calling his name.
It was a little girl in a princess dress, wearing a hairband, looking very pretty and quiet, with a shy smile on her face, "Hayes, we're playing a game, do you want to join?"
Hayes wasn't very interested but asked anyway, "What are you playing?"
The little girl said, "Duck, Duck, Goose."
Hayes was even less interested. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw little Chubby chatting with Grace Winter, and then the two of them went off to find the people hiding.
"Hayes, do you want to play?" the little girl asked again.
Hayes was the most handsome boy in the whole kindergarten, with big eyes and long eyelashes that looked like they were painted on. Everyone liked playing with him.
