The crying had quieted down, and she didn't even realize that her doll had fallen to the ground.
The teacher beside couldn't help but laugh, "You two siblings have a really good relationship."
Hayes Edwards instinctively wanted to speak, but seeing Grace Winter hanging onto his arm, he held back, "Actually, it's just okay."
He said awkwardly.
The teacher smiled and shook her head, taking out iodine and band-aids from the first aid kit.
Grace Winter was a little scared, but holding Hayes's hand made her feel a bit better. Her eyes were still red, tears clinging to her face.
Since it was after school, the parents of both children were waiting outside to pick them up.
Today's visitors were Father Edwards and Father Winter.
Leaving kindergarten, Grace Winter was carried on her father's back.
Father Winter, feeling sorry for his daughter, wanted to let her skip tomorrow's kindergarten, but Grace said it was okay.
"It's just a little pain."
