Recap: Aurora yelled at him asking, "If you didn't then who did?". "I don't know but I know I didn't", Acacius replied struggling to keep his tone soft.

Acacius was tired of having to refute the accusations every single time the girl brought it up. Over the course of his existence, Acacius had been accused of doing many things, most of which he did but the ones he didn't do, he didn't bother denying. He just let the rumors about him spread but he found himself having to deny this particular accusation every time Aurora brought it up. Somewhere in his heart, he didn't want to be seen as a monster by her, somehow what she thought of him mattered to him.
