Chapter 20 - Chapter Twenty

The wind blowing the door drew all of their attention and Ophelia was finally able to finish her story. "Though our saintly Angel may have left her home to start life all over, she didn't leave before making a quick stop on a cliff overlooking the valley the wolfmen called home. She stood on the cliff and reminisced about her old life and the death of poor Isidore and in her anguish, she cursed the man who had struck the blow that ended Isidore's life". At that statement, everyone gasped; nowhere in history was there mention of a curse in relation to Nymra. The stories might have differed but they all seem to agree on one point; Nymra was literally and figuratively an angel. Acacius who didn't want to believe his mother was capable of doing that said; "No one's ever mentioned a curse, how would you know that to be the truth, it's not like you were there".
