There was no other way to explain her existence. At four months, she could already speak simple words. At 6 months, she could already fluently speak difficult sentences, of course her pronunciation was still a bit off but her fellow peers were still only babbling at that age. At eight months, she could already easily walk by herself. A year after her birth her comprehension abilities already equaled that of a five year old. At the age of two, she could write simple sentences. The year she turned four, she was enrolled in a private school specialized for gifted children across the country. She graduated at the age of six, shocking the government. Her intelligence now exceeding that of high schoolers.
Needless to say, her future achievements surely would make our country proud. And yet, there was a problem. It certainly wasn't a small problem, otherwise I wouldn't be telling you this would I?
Let me start, from the very beginning. Emma Wan and Gavin River. They first met during high school. They both came from rich backgrounds and because of their shared interests quickly hit off. They dated for a couple years before finally getting married. A year after their marriage they had their first child. They named him Evan. He inherited his father's straight, jet-black hair and his mothers grey eyes. They taught him strictly and carefully as he was going to inherit their family's company in the future. Evan quickly met with their expectations as he became a calm, steady, and handsome young man. He was also quite popular with the ladies.
The couple loved Evan. They also loved Evan's younger sister. Her name was Dawn. She was five years younger than Evan. Emma and Gavin had always wanted a daughter and Evan had longed for a cute younger sister to spoil and protect. Dawn lived up to her name as she was like the existence of "light" itself. She was cheerful, outgoing, and playful. With her stunning blonde hair and her hazelnut brown eyes she looked like a miniature version of Emma. She smoothly captured everyone's hearts and was also very talented.
A gorgeously looking loving couple, a mature and handsome older brother, and a cute and cheerful younger sister. A "perfect" family. Unfortunately, "her" existence was a problem.
For Emma and Gavin, having two angelic children were enough. They didn't plan to have anymore…
No, to be precise they didn't want anymore. Another child would just be a waste of their time, time that could be better spent on other things. But as always, reality never goes the way one wants.
