I saw Rean puff his cheeks out, pouting.
"It's better when I sleep in your room, Brother. Mother allows it!", Rean answered, pouting.
"Hah...", I replied, sighing. "You know I tend to wake up really early, right? I may not be here at times to see you wake up, Rean.", I retorted back at him.
"I don't care.", Rean simply answered. I couldn't help but smile hearing Rean respond back like this.
"What will I ever do with you?", I said back to Rean while shaking my head. "Still, since you are awake now, why don't you go see if breakfast will be ready soon? I typically head out for my daily jog by now, but I can push that back for today.", I asked Rean, causing him to tilt his head.
"You won't come with me?"
"Nah. If you see Mom and Dad, tell them I'll be there in a few, alright?", I asked Rean.
"Okay!", Rean happily replied.
Rean was still quite young, so I helped him wobble off the bed. It was pretty funny to see him struggle a bit, but he was able to stand on his own. This is the time where most kids are starting to walk about. I did see Mother standing in the open doorway with a smile, making sure the two of us didn't get hurt. Rean managed to make it to Kasia's side. I saw Kasia pick Rean up, placing Rean into her arm.
"Get this Mama, Brother said he would join us for breakfast!", Rean happily said to Kasia. Hearing that, Kasia smiled.
"Fufufu, is that right?", Kasia said, looking my way. "I'll make your favorite omelette today, Naoto. The first day of the weekend had just passed, so it's Sunday now. Your daddy will have to return to the capital tomorrow again for the week. He won't return until next weekend.", Kasia said to me. I nodded my head.
"Got it, mom. I'll be down in a few.", I happily said. Kasia bid me farewell for now, and I saw Rean wave his hand back at me. I wish moments like these could last forever. Sadly, I know the reality that is to come. But I didn't want to change my current position.
But more importantly, I wanted to review everything that I had obtained yesterday. I immediately saw the completed Daily Quest, which had since been renewed for today. It provided me another Stat Point to use. It was March 3rd now, bright and early in the morning. Like I said, I would have started jogging, and maybe Rean has a sixth sense about these kinds of things. Did he know I was going to take it easy today and do my jogging later? Is that why I found him in my bed?
A question that couldn't be answered. But that didn't deter my anticipation. I saw the notifications one after another, and just like yesterday, it almost made my head spin again. It was a lot of information to process. I still let the notifications play out again, from the time the Emergency Quest had finished. I had completed Task 1 and Task 2, but it looks like there was what's called Hidden Conditions. These come by every so often. Requirements that you can't outright see, but if it happens, you'll get additional rewards for it. And it was worth it alright!

'Holy...', I inwardly thought, allowing several moments to pass. I didn't just level up once. I leveled up multiple times. Seven times total. That Tactical Bonus sure is something else. As the monsters' levels weren't directly impacting the Emergency Quest's reward, it took the direct calculation. Five thousand times five. Fifty thousand Experience Points, resulting in this...
I cracked a smile. Yet to my surprise, the system notifications didn't seem to end there. There were a couple hidden ones that came after, almost failing to surface. My attention was drawn to them. But perhaps that was a bad idea. These notifications didn't seem to stop coming...
[Ding! The Crimson Roselia has set her eyes on you.]

[Ding! ...]
All of a sudden, the Gamer System started to spam the same notification over and over, causing my head to be filled with all this garbled nonsense. It didn't stop. Letting it happen constantly, I soon received a headache. And it didn't stop. The headache grew and grew. My eyes turned wide. In the next moment, I felt a very strong pain strike against the inside of my head, causing me to clutch onto it.
"AHHHH!", I yelled out. It was as if my head wanted to burst open as if it was failing to keep up with processing too much information at once. It was like pressing control alt delete on a windows bio. My yell intensified, quickly reaching the other rooms of our villa. As my voice grew louder and louder, it eventually reached the rest inside the living room. Rean could be seen with Giliath while Kasia was just about finishing cooking breakfast for the morning. Kasia suddenly paused hearing this ear-curdling scream.
"Naoto!", Kasia yelled back, not expecting to hear this loud noise so early in the morning. She became worried, as it sounded quite painful coming from Naoto.
"Brother!", Rean also exclaimed, obviously worried. It hasn't been too long since the three were getting ready for breakfast.
As for Giliath, he surprisingly remained calm while hearing his son yell like that. He slowly placed his cup of coffee back down on the table. He stood up, and observed the nearby stairs, which eventually led to their bedrooms. He then looked at Kasia and Rean.
"Kasia, Rean, stay here.", Giliath said to the two. "I fear this may not be so simple. I will personally go meet our guest. You two needn't worry.", Giliath said, ensuring the two that Naoto was fine.
"...Guest? But Naoto's yelling out in pain. He's not fine!", Kasia responded back, not expecting Giliath to respond like that. She became even more worried.
Yet, shortly after Kasia tried to go check to see if Naoto was fine or not, the yelling soon began to die down. It wasn't as loud, and before long, Naoto's yelling soon turned still again. Giliath smiled seeing this result, acting as if he had expected it.
"See? Nothing to worry about Kasia, Rean. I will proceed to check on Naoto's condition, and likewise, greet our new guest. I'm sure he's still exhausted from yesterday.", Giliath said, ensuring the two that Naoto was completely fine. After an absurd amount of notifications, Naoto's Gamer System did indeed die down. Naoto had already lost track as to how many he received.
"Thank you, Giliath. I just can't help but worry, you know? Perhaps you are working Naoto too hard by having him jog every day?", Kasia questioned, and looked down at her side where Rean was. He was still worried. "And Rean, you stay here. Father is going to go have a look."
"Okay...", Rean uttered, accepting the outcome. He was reluctant, and held onto Kasia's skirt. Giliath proceeded to walk up the stairs, slowly vanishing from sight. It didn't take long for Giliath to hear a voice call out to him. It was the same nonchalant voice he heard yesterday.
"Now now, we can't have the cat have some fun already, can we? A female voice called out to Giliath. He saw that Naoto's pain had completely receded now.
I was able to gain some clarity after that constant buzzing in my head. It was something I didn't expect, and hopefully it won't happen again anytime soon. The door to my room was partly closed, but I heard a familiar female voice call out to likely Father who came to check in on me. My ears perked up, allowing me to hear.
"Claude Ostium.", The female voice suddenly said, initiating an incantation. After she did the cracked door forcibly closed the door shut on its own. My eyes turned wide seeing this happen before me. It left Giliath stranded in the hallway...
Shortly after, a second incarnation followed suit, and I saw a magic circle suddenly appear in my room not so far away. The first incantation was still active on the door.
All Giliath could do was simply grin, seeing the way forward was now blocked.
