Liam Quincy paused for a moment, initially stunned by what he heard, and then his face expressed disbelief.
His hand rested on the doorknob, yet he hesitated to push it down.
Liam stood there thinking, suddenly turned and looked at the old lady eating fruit.
"Grandma, let's move to the big house."
The old lady was surprised by the news at first, then smiled happily.
"Good, that's great!"
Mason Sutton and Bianca Sutton clapped joyfully upon hearing this, but Nancy Sutton frowned and objected.
"No way!"
Mason and Bianca immediately stopped clapping, and instead sat quietly to watch Nancy.
Afraid that she might flare up.
Liam sighed deeply, refrained from mentioning it again, picked up his briefcase, and left the house.
Aaron Kendrick then turned his attention to Nancy, saying.
"Don't hold it against Mr. Quincy."
Acting the part of a do-gooder, Nancy saw through it immediately but said nothing, merely invited him to join her in eating fruit.
