The old lady noticed Mason and Bianca's emotions and hurriedly ran over to comfort them with a few words and brought out gummy bears to appease the two kids.
She started to change the subject, whispering quietly.
"Is this Aaron Kendrick uncle not as good-looking as Mr. Quincy?"
Mason and Bianca, both look-focused, immediately reacted and nodded affirmatively,
Bianca said without hesitation, "Even when Mr. Quincy is angry, he's still good-looking, but Aaron Kendrick is not. He's too ugly."
Mason, seeing the scene, quickly covered Bianca's mouth, telling her not to talk nonsense, and be careful of Aaron Kendrick hearing.
Bianca had no choice but to stare with big watery eyes at Mason and the old lady, struggling and mumbling.
Claiming she wouldn't speak anymore.
Only then did Mason let her go, removing his hand.
Soon after, the door was suddenly opened by someone from outside, and Bianca's keen ears heard the sound, she immediately focused her gaze on the entrance.
