Lu Qingxian had been quiet all this time as he observed the turns of event. This is the first time the Spring Water Peak is handling an examination so he knew that the examination should go well as to not lose face. When the brawl started, Lu Qingxian was slightly disappointed and was already thinking of ways to deal with these people when, all of a sudden, a girl who appeared to be around fourteen, interrupted the two group and dismissed the fight. Due to this, both Lu Qingxian and Xiao Ying were thankful to the girl.
"I wonder just how this examination will go with Spring Water Peak as the lead" A female voice interrupted the peace of the two. A woman dressed in purple dress suddenly appeared beside Lu Qingxian
"Peak Master, Tang Siqi" Xiao Ying bowed slightly to show his respect. The woman was no other than Purple Snow Peak's Peak master, Tang Siqi. Although the Spring Water Peak is the main and strongest foundation in the sect that no one dared scorn them face to face, there is still someone who, regardless of the consequence, would still scorn the disciples–especially Spring Water Peak's Peak master, Lu Qingxian and that person is Tang Siqi. Tang Siqi appeared to be extremely gorgeous while her flowly skirt was blown by the wind causing for her to be more ethereal and passionate. "Senior Tang," Lu Qingxian gestured for her to sit at the chair prepared by Xiao Ying
"No need. I just came here to say a few words." Tang Siqi said. "Since your Spring Water Peak is given a chance to participate in this event then there should be a reason. I say, the luck of your Peak hasn't been good all these years I'm afraid the sect had to suffer a setback" Tang Siqi then sneered.
"I am aware" Lu Qingxian naturally answered. He was used to always being ridiculed by Tang Siqi whenever she finds a chance, she would never let a single matter escape and would carve it deep into his bones if she could. Hearing his calm answer, Tang Siqi turned to look at him only to see his indifferent expression. She snorted before looking at the mirror in his hands "The exam takers this time are fewer than the last. Hmm isn't this a sign of your bad luck?" Tang Siqi chuckled maliciously.
Lu Qingxian furrowed his delicate brows. At the Island, the crowd started to gather into groups while using their knowledge of different arrays to try and break the array set by Lu Qingxian.
"I think the array is breaking!"
After a short time, someone exclaimed . The people all looked towards his group and to their shock, they saw a crack in the space!
"How did you do it?" Lu Li approached and inquired
"That, of course can not be revealed to anyone other than my group!" the youth arrogantly announced making the faces of the other people twitch. From afar, Ming Yi and Yi Feng's group also heard the commotion and was about to rush forward but when they heard the guy's words, they immediately retreated with dark faces. 'How utterly selfish!' Ming Yi inwardly thought as he rolled his eyes as he did so, however, his gaze landed at Yi Feng's group. Ming Yi subconsciously shuddered upon seeing Yi Feng's cold glare at him. Suddenly, he felt a light tug at his sleeve. He turned to look at Ye Shenyin who was looking up at the sky, smiling hysterically.
"Shenyin, is something the matter?" Ming Yi asked worriedly. Ye Shenyin seemed to be brought back to reality by his call. Shaking his head, he said
" No"
"So, why are you.."
"I know how to break through this"
Ming Yi's face lit up and he hurriedly moved closer to him "You know? how? how do we breakthrough this array?" he tried to whisper in the lowest manner possible however, it was still heard by Yi Feng and his group. Listening carefully, the group's eyes also brightened "The mind puzzling array is used to confuse the mind however, if one looked closely, you can see that it has a transparent barrier" Ye Shenyin then curled his five fingers and punched the air. With this one strike, a crack suddenly appeared in the air as though an invisible barrier has been Shattered
"This is called breaking space technique" As he said this, he curled his other five finger and began punching the cracked space.

Ming Yi hadn't even spoke a word until now for he had not been able to digest everything when suddenly, the scene changed. He only saw Ye Shenyin punching the air like a mad-man and then—

A loud explosion enough to make his ear bleed, resounded in his head making him scream in pain. But the pain was only for ten seconds or so. The next moment he opened his eyes, he was greeted by some disciples who wore different sect uniforms–this was the same inner sect disciples they had met previously! Shock mixed with joy appeared on his face.
"W-we made it" he gritted his teeth as he tried to contain his excitement. Ye Shenyin on the other hand, remained calm and indifferent

One after another , explosions could be heard followed by people suddenly appearing like a ghost. Some screamed in pain while others remained cool and lively including Yi Feng who still wore a cold expression on his face. They had all broke through! How could they not hear the commotion made by these two?
When Ye Shenyin's first punch hit the barrier, creating a loud noise, the people nearby had already looked at their directions. To their surprise, the seemingly quiet and barely speaking Youth beside Ming Yi, suddenly, started madly punching the air. It was then that they realized that it might be the way to break through so they all followed suit.
When Ming Yi and Ye Shenyin's barrier had collapsed, they all saw it and began increasing their strength thus, a second later after Ming Yi and Ye Shenyin fell, they also emerged like a ghost. The inner sect disciples were watching at them with folded arms and arrogant smirks. Suddenly, a bell rang from afar and the door behind them closed. The crowd turned to look and only then that they realized that they were already inside the sect! Joy and excitement flashed on ther faces.
"Young master Yi, look" Ye Shenyin pointed towards the crowd of happy youth. There was nothing amiss about them being happy however, if they would look closely , they would notice the number of people who had emerged were fewer than their original number which meant that some were already eliminated. Ming Yi's face changed slightly but he immediately hid it with a smile
"Little Yin , it seems that we are truly fortunate" Ming Yi's face lit up. Before long, Xiao Ying once again arrived in front of them and waved a scroll in his hands. Xiao Ying opened his mouth to speak in a clear voice
"Today, in less than 3 hours, more than fifty were eliminated with a total of ninety four examinees left" his voice resounded and it was as if the world had gone completely silent if it wasn't for the wind occasionally blowing which made the hearts of the remaining exam takers grow cold. It was unknown to them the reason why they would suddenly eliminate fifty six exam takers.
In fact, Lu Qingxian had long since saw through them. He had also saw who among them has the potential and doesn't . However, with Lu Qingxian's mysterious temperament, the elimination of the fifty six exam takers can only be due to his own consideration and strict monitoring.
