Alice Robinson was helping Chester Robinson adjust his tie when there was a knock on the door.
Alice felt awkward and said, "It must be Rachel, she's going to complain that I'm a big lazy pig again."
Chester smiled and went to open the door.
Indeed, Rachel was standing there with her backpack, hands on her hips, pouting, "Mommy, I'm going to be late again..."
"Rachel."
Seeing her father, Rachel paused for a moment. "Daddy."
Chester picked up Rachel and kissed her soft little cheek, "Sorry, Daddy and Mommy woke up late."
Rachel happily wrapped her arms around Chester's strong neck, "Daddy, you're back!"
"Yes."
"Yay, Daddy and Mommy have made up."
Alice and Chester exchanged a glance, basking in their daughter's radiant smile.
Chester personally drove Rachel to kindergarten.
Rachel sat on Alice's lap, happily swinging her legs, "I'm so happy, Daddy and Mommy are taking me to kindergarten together."
Chester chuckled, "If you like it, Daddy can accompany you every day."
