Arriving at the Web I didn't waste any time.

Entering the train car, where I then set by bag aside, I quickly moved over to one of the workstations and got started on building my web-shooters.

Finishing them a couple hours later.

The web-shooters themselves exactly replicas of the ones from TSAM2.

Basking in the satisfaction of completing them for a moment I then moved on to creating my super-suit.

Turning away from the workstation where I had completed my web-shooters I then moved over to another one where I had set up a sewing machine I had managed to buy on the cheap side from a local pawn shop.

Even though the Parker household does have its very own sewing machine.

For unlike the original Peter I didn't want even the slightest chance of Ben or May discovering my spider related activities.

At least until I was ready to tell them on my own terms.

Which likely won't be until either I've graduated highschool, or after the Chituari invasion.

For if this universe predominantly follows the events from the MCU then that means I only have a year and a half, given we're near the end of 2010, to prepare before war comes to my hometown.

Just thinking about it I felt a shiver run acrossy entire body.

Recalling how New York City looked in the Avengers film in my previous life.

Laying in ruins, fire everywhere, the people screaming in terror.

But that was just a film.

This is real life.

Plus with the inclusion of Mutants and the Fantastic Four in this reality I have no idea if things will even remotely follow the plot of the film.

And if even the same events do occur whose to say things won't be worse.

'No. No. Calm down. Be calm.' I thought to myself.

I then inahled and exhaled. Working to get my emotions under control.

Since I was just about to jump down a rather nasty rabbit hole and straight into a deep dark abyss that likely would've taken me quite the effort to climb out of.

Which I don't have time for.

Not when there is a future to prepare for.

One I have no idea will turn out.

All I do know is that I will be there and that I need to do all I can when the time comes.

I'm Spider-Man after all.

After calming down I then took a few minutes to simply let my mind wander.

I then focused back on the task at hand, and within no time I had completed my very first Spider-Man costume.

The suit itself looking exactly the one from the first Amazing Spider-Man film. The only difference being I replaced the blue in the suit with black.

For although I love the classic red and blue, if I'm going to be the Superior Spider-Man it's red and black baby.

And the fact that red and black are my favorite colors doesn't hurt either.

"Beautiful." I said. Marveling at my own handiwork.

All made possible by the original Peter's memories. Who learned sewing, and how to use a sewing machine, from aunt May.

Standing to my feet I went to go hang the suit up on a rack I had set up.

Until I had a lightbulb moment.

Both the suit and the web-shooters needed a test drive.

So with that I began taking off my clothes.

For it was time to suit up.

Hearing the common congestion of New York City traffic below me I looked down from the edge of the building I was standing on.

Doing my best to make sure I didn't make mess in my pants.

Since although I'm fairly certain with my accelerated healing I could survive a fall from my current height I'd rather not test that theory.

Ever.

So with that in mind I did yet another check on my web-shooters, even though I have done so several times in the past few minutes, before turning my attention to the cityscape before me.

"Okay, you can do this. You can do this. The science is sound. Your theory is sound. So just do it." I told himself.

I then exhaled one last time before jumping and going into a swan dive off the side of roof of the building I was standing on.

After which I raised my left arm and fired off a string of webbing that connected to another building.

Grabbing it with both hands I then began feeling my momentum increase even further, the ground getting closer and closer as the seconds began feeling like an eternity as I got closer and closer to it.

Until eventually the moment of truth came as I reached the ground.

Wondering if my webbing would break.

But it didn't.

The webbing held strong, carrying my weight and allowing me to swing upwards.

Where I then launched another web line and swung from it.

Eventually finding myself swinging through the city.

"Haha! Hell yeah! It works!" I shouted in a absolute glee as I glided through the city.

Finally understanding why Spider-Man loves web-slinging so much.

It's amazing.

Swinging it feels as if all my worries, all my anxiety, has just faded away.

"Yeah, this is the best." I mused.

Right as I landed stop the head of a gargoyle statue.

Where I then began looking out at the city before me.

A city that now has its very own super duper wall-crawler.

Even if they don't know it yet.

Taking a few more minutes to enjoy the view I then decided it was time to return to the Web.

So with that I began web-slinging back in its direction.

Only to spot a robbery in progress out of the corner of my eye in a back alley.

A gunman was holding up a delivery truck driver.

Seeing this I knew exactly what I had to do.

Changing the direction of my swing I landed on the side of one of the buildings in the alley, directly above the situation.

I then didn't hesitate to web up the gunmens hands, before shooting a line of webbing onto his feet and then hanging him upside down.

Finding the look of utter shock on his face quite funny when he fully realized his situation.

"Hey, what the hell?!"

"Didn't your mouth ever teach you it's not nice to point things at people pal?" I asked the man.

Leading him to turn his attention to me. "What the hell? Who are you supposed to be?"

"Oh, no one but your friendly neighborhood Spiderman." I replied.

"Spider-Man? Spider-deadman is more like it when I-mpmhh!!!" The gunmen began mumbling when I webbed his mouth shut.

Finding joy in yet another classic spidey action.

"Hey!!!"

That is until I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard someone yelling at me below.

Looking down I saw it was the delivery truck driver.

"Whoever you are, thank you!!" He spoke. A genuine smile on his face.

Saying nothing I simply gave him a two finger salute before going on my web-slinging way.

Extremely satisfied with the test drive of my equipment and my very first save as a hero.
