Meanwhile, at Lockwood Manor, Mrs. Lockwood had prepared a sumptuous feast. It was partly to celebrate The Lockwood Group's recovery from its recent troubles, and partly a farewell dinner for Luna White.
"Finally, things are looking up. After all our hard work, the Group has overcome its difficulties and is back on track."
"Sigh, but our losses were still staggering. If it weren't for our political connections, this whole mess would have been much worse."
"In any case, this is still good news. Let's all raise a glass to that."
After speaking, Mr. Lockwood raised his glass and clinked it firmly against everyone else's.
"Luna, are you really leaving? Why don't you stay for a few more days? Honestly, I'll really miss you."
"Think about it, we haven't seen each other in years, and now you're leaving after such a short visit. Can't you stay for just a few more days?"
