Behind the door was an endless expanse of white fog, but as Shard and Miss Danester stood side by side, small silvery glimmers extended from beneath their feet toward infinity. The backdrop of an infinite star ocean emerged around them, with bookshelves outlined by starlight neatly arranged, expanding outward from the two as the center.
At the edge of their vision, a gigantic yellow moon floated above the star ocean. No matter where their gaze shifted, the saffron moon always followed, becoming a part of the library in the star ocean.
The white fog did not completely vanish, lingering at the edge of vision like the walls of the library.
