SO long time no see.
I know i didn't write for a long time but this banshee didn't want to leave me alone ( she still doesn't want every night she screams and screams but after some spells some curse and prayers the ear-piercing shrill sound now like the noise a sheep make... Just that it take minutes before it end and deeper. Like a " BaiaaaaaaaaaaaahaahaaaaaaaaahhhhhaaaahhahhahaBaaaaaaaaa" Then she give ups and come back the next day. To tell the true it is quite a difficult creature to handle and i am now convinced that she just like to hear her own voice. Though i am not sure where i offended her. I mean she could go scream in the wood??? Or do her job : warn other of their imminent death???
When i first heard her when it was this shrill i was just lazy to go up my bed and check. And i thought i was hallucinating. but it went on and on just like an alarm.
I am not stupid. I saw too many horror movies where one go search his own death to check the suspicious noise so I stayed put. And after a while i slept. but she continued every day. My sleep was reduced to one or two hours when the banshee leave at the sunrise. At the end i was so enraged that i went to look at it death be damned. Turn out the thing is shy and started to run around i caught it by pure ire alone. For those who ask it look like a women, black hair all over their face for eyes two black holes. Tall and squeleton like thin. Their sheek sunken in like as if they suffer from hunger. Anyway i realised in my tired state that : Hey, the alarm is a banshee? !
If i had known earlier i would have ruled the problem fast. Banshee are quite harmless. quite good for you. When you hear their scream you have approximatively 3 seconds before your demise. It can be a natural death, an accident or a murderer slipping in your house. Anyway if you react quick enough it really save your life ( most die because the scream really startle you). Well i am not sure why i am still alive but i am . and the thing keep coming back( i let it go after changing its voice).If someone know be sure to comment though i am thinking of taming it. I am not good in divination so i didn't look for answer there. Anyway i have a bit of premonition ( there are not far in the future but farer than 3 seconds) so i think i am going to be okay.
The spell that i spoke about in last chapter was about rising the death ? i shall not speak about that.

i know that i was writing about haunting.
i will make it short because i lost interest in this spell.
well it isn't really a spell ritual is more fitting.
Belief is a catalyst for the magic. And the longer the belief is nurished the better for the flow.
Word have power, it ensnare and form the magic given to you. And the language you use also has its specific power. I won't talk about how much power one language has against another because its hard and depend of a lot of factor ( the place where you're born, if other of the same blood of you are born there, your proficiency behind it, the knowledge that you have of this language if its your mother language,etc...) so it is not really quantifiable. What you have to know that the older the language the more roots and meanings has a word so it gives more power. The more people use the language chosen the more power it has in it.
By this you may think that English is a more powerful than let's say the french. But you are wrong. The french is older( albeit it had changed a lot with centuries eroding it) and is basically the fondations where the english lay. When you speak english in some way you speak french. So you may think that the french is the most powerful? But no. Latin is. You can say : "But not many speak it now?" yes. That's true. But the french like the Spanish , the english etc take root in latin. (for english it also has german root) But like i said it is difficult to mesure. Another powerful language is: the chinese.
It changed a lot during the centuries too but it stand strong. And is laced with myth and beliefs. And it has greatly influenced the language and culture of those who stood at the side of China like Japan and Korea. I would say that chinese dialect are even more powerful.
But lets not forget the Hebraic. Really it has so much strenght and is built on so much faith.
I won't talk about the indigenous population in america because i frankly do not know enough about it. Just say that their daily life is strongly linked with spirit so it must have quite a few surprises in it.
The celtic should also be something to behold it's a pity that only a few remain stayed in european country. I want to mention that the norwiegian and other language in North european countries are very " magical" but you need to be very careful with how you speak it.
Language also has their own specifities.
For dead throwing a tamper i would say that the latin and the chinese is your best go.
With belief like the christianism and taoism.
Generally for the christianism you need to touch the corpse of the haunting ghost. And end up destroying it . Depending of the kind of ghost you have in front of you there are differents rituals. If the ghost appear to be chaotic and to not specifically want to harm you( and it its range of action is locked in the same place closely related to it like its bedroom or the place where it died) you don't need to go as far as digging up his body or his ashes. Just a prayer you will find on the bible or simply in the net should suffice, the prayer however isn't a random one. It's a prayer about the dying( not for the dead)that release the other of its sin and ask God to accompany him in his way of death. Maybe i will write this in the next chapter.
If it's a more difficult one, one who attack you. then dig the body pierce his hand bone and feet like the crucifiedJesus Christ. Rip.
with of course nails and recite a prayer of protection from God and then confess for your sin( because if you didn't understand YOU MUTILATED THE BODY OF A DEAD PERSON are you sick?!). Then put him back to rest in his tomb.
Pray for protection for 7 days. The first night batismal water shall be poured on the dead you dug up. When the whole thing is done and the prayer is recited then kneel and with your finger dipped in batismal water (if you stole it remember to confess in your sin too!!!) perfom the gesture cross, Marie, Jesus,... after 7 days of prayer repeat the gesture with a new dash of batismal water.
And then give another prayer( this one of thanks).
If you don't have the body ( ash) or if the ghost is quite physical like then the taoism is your best go. What is good it is that here is like a ton of rituals for this circumstance and lot of them allow you to trap the thing look at it in the net.If you are a man you are yang and so you are a natural in this if you are a woman ... let's say you are more prone to still be able to live on even after being put to rest( yin->ghost world, very crude simplification but it also mean you are a natural spiritual but in case of haunting the mans are better off).
Anyway you can still mix latin with taoism if its easier for you or chinese with christianism.
But i gueas i took so long to write this maybe the haunted who wanted to know are all already killed by the ghost.
