Drake reached the clearing and saw 5 people the people were on top of some ferocious looking beast. On of them was on a [Giant Golden tiger] as he cut down multiple beast at once.
Drake saw that behind them were kids that looked to be around 15-16 years old with the males wearing the same white shirt and black jeans but they had an over coat with a strange symbol on it. As he came out of the wood one of the children pointed at him and shouted "Look Drake is actually alive!" when the others heard this they all looked at him.
"So worm is still alive? Ha Look at his messed up cloths he's probably almost dead already." a tall boy with a strong build said.
When the 5 people fighting saw this they were shocked they just saw Drake being chased by a [Black Wolf] not long ago how could he still be alive. With no time to think one of them who was on a [Flaming Red Giant Rabbit] jumped over the crowd while the rabbit kept shooting out fire balls to make an opening.
When Drake saw this he was scared out of his mind so much so that he passed out right when the [Flaming Red Giant Rabbit] landed in front of him with a lout 'BANG'.When the teacher landed and looked down to grab Drake she saw him laying on the floor with a passed of expression she jumped off to grab him. Then she jumped back to safety.
When Drake awoke he stared at an unfamiliar ceiling. "Thank goodness your ok Drake I thought you where done for!" Drake looked to his left and saw a girl that lookd to be around 10 years old crying on the side of his bed.
"Drake?So you know m..." Suddenly a sharp pain hit his head and unfamiliar memories started flooding in. He was in a world of magic where summoning ruled Supreme and if u can't summon a creature or use magic you can only cry at home for being a failure. The girl right next to him was his sister Mia and the where orphans who lost their parents 2 years ago when he turned 12. His gift that day turned out ro be a magic cultivate guide even if it was the worst one it still cost around $5,000.
The thing was they were already poor so his father decided the night before to steal the book from a stall he saw the other day. He was successful but the next day he got him and his wife killed. They found out who stole the book and sent some men to deal with it.
Only Mia and Drake weren't at the house at the time they were on the streets looking for cheap food to buy with 2 copper. They returned to see the mangled corpses of their mother and father as well as everything in the house destroyed.
Drake was a student at Phoenix middle school so they were able to get a dorm there but time was running out if he couldn't summon a pet at the end of the school year they would be kicked out and on the streets. No high-school would want someone with no ability to use magic or summon creatures.
When he woke up from the daze Mia was staring at him and shaking his shoulders "Brother...Brother! Are you ok do I need to call the nurse!?"
"No no I'm fine I was just spacing out let's go back to the dorm." Drake said. When they where at the dorm Mia prepared dinner while Drake tried to process everything. It turns out yesterday they where on a trip to see the different types of creatures in action and see how dangerous the wild was.
Tomorrow they will go back fully geared in leather armor and iron swords ro try and get [energy crystals] to speed up there cultivation and hopefully be able to summon a pet next week.
That night while Drake slept he dreamt about that strange old man and what he could have to do with this.
