When Drake arrived at the cave he fell into a deep sleep not waking up for 10 hours. After Drake woke up it was already the afternoon so he had to make time count.
He got up and ran towards the exit to the cave. With limited time Drake couldn't afford to sneakily look for animals he would have to charge straight for them.
After leaving the cave Drake ran around the perimeter hoping for some beast to be close. Sadly there were none slightly disappointed he widened his search range.
While looking around Drake saw a few classmates but avoided them not wanting them to see his new found power.
Since it seems everyone was searching for something to kill in his area Drake decided he had to either go deeper with the risk of running into a tier 1 beast or switch sides of the forest.
With a chance to run into John. With limited time and not having a death wish Drake headed to the other side of the forest.
With his current stats he could at least avoid John. While going to the other side Drake noticed he started to see less and less people.
Which means there is probably more beast around. 'But why is noone around this is a perfect hunting spot?' Draje was confused.
With noone around he could use his powers more openly. So without any wasteful movements Drake used [ShadowTransport] to get around.
I'm this area there were already a few died animals but Drake also saw one ore two human arms or legs that seemed to have been chopped or blasted off.
'There must be a powerful beast around here. At least level 7 from all these bodies.'
After a few moments Drake heard some fast movement as if someone was running. Turning around he saw a small silver monkey running from something.
Not wanting to be seen by the predator or its prey Drake used [ShadowTransport] to get in one of the trees to hide.
Soon Drake saw Samuel chasing the monkey. With the distance between them it seemed like the monkey would escape when Suddenly a whole sword was thrown from the bushes.
The sword can at the monkey so fast and unexpected that it didn't have time to dodge. The monkeys legs were cut off blood spraying everywhere.
It's howls of pain reached for miles. From the bushes emerged John. With a smile on his face John picked up his sword and the monkey by its head.
"You idiot you think you can run from me!? You should of just lied down and died like a good boy."
With that said John cut off its head sending it rolling unexpectedly to Drakes tree. Drake seeing the gruesome scene couldn't take it anymore.
Drake projectile vomited all over the place coating his tree the grass and some of John's clothes in puke. With such a terrible scene could anyone blame him.
John surprised and disgusted looked at were the puke came from. "You dumb piece of sh*t you ruined my clothes! Show yourself right now!"
Since Drake was in the shadows it was hard for John to make out who it was. Samuel also approached looking at where Drake was in the trees.
Since they already knew he was there Drake decided to just come out. He dropped from the tree with a loud bang landing right in front of John.
"How did you even manage to climb such a massive tree in the first place worm. Something must have chased your powerless *ss up there."
Not wanting to waste time Drake just nodded and walked away. John seeing this was enraged. Such an insect just walking away from him doesn't make sense.'He has to beg for forgiveness for what he did.' John thought.
John ran up to Drake and punched him straight in the back of the head. Confused Drake didn't have time to catch himself and fell to the ground face first.
"You think you can just walk away after vomiting all over my clothes! No you will get on your hands and knees and beg for forgiveness while cleaning my cloths!" John screamed.
Seeing there was no way out Drake grabbed the handle of his sword ready to unsheath it, but then the heard a loud howl.
looking where it came from there was a giant silver gorilla in the trees starting right at them. Not wanting it to get the first move John picked up Drake and threw him towards the beast.
After that John and Samuel ran as fast as they could towards a certain spot in the woods leaving Drake as bait to slow it down.
Seeing the 7 foot tall gorilla stareing daggers at him Drake used [ShadowTransport] to get behind it. He didn't attack he just watched from the shadows as it looked for him for a couple seconds.
Then it ran straight towards John and Samuel. With Drake following right behind.
Seeing the gorilla after them John was upset."Damn he can't even be a good distraction. He died in just a couple seconds."
"What did you expect he was not even a level one yet there's no way he could survive that beast its at least level 7." Samuel commented in a bored tone.
"Well your trap better work or we are dead!" John yelled while approaching their destination.
After jumping over a pile of leaves they entered a small hole in a giant tree.
"ummm...I guess they don't know it's swinging from the branches not running? Oh well I'll just let nature take its course." Drake said seeing the obvious pitfall trap.
The gorilla furious that it's kin died looked at the tree that wasn't far with rage. 'SNAP'. Grabbing another branch the gorilla heard a snap looking up the thick branch it had grabbed fell from the sky along with it.
There seemed to be a straight cut through most of the branch. While the gorilla fell it tried to grab the tree but it was to far.
Hitting tons of branches on the way down it land straight in the pitfall trap with only its arms and head sticking out.
When it landed the beast felt a sharp pain through its feet and legs. As warm liquid flowed down his legs alongsidethe blood.
"Yea we caught you now stupid ape. We only had to try a few times but your finally mine! HAHAHAHA!" John laughed as he left the hole look straight at the beast.
Samuel followed with a pleased look knowing his trap finally paid off.
