When they arrived at Crimson forest everyone got off the bus. Mr.Johnson repeated some stuff about teams and waited for us to choose.
As I looked around it seemed most people had a partner already. Then I saw a nerdy kid named Samuel standing alone. I didn't want to be by myself so I approached him.
"Hey it seems we don't have partners. Wanna team up so we have a better chance of winning?" Drake asked.
"HA Did you hear that everyone Drake the worm wants to team up with. Everyone in class started to laugh. Drake had no clue what was going on.
He had never seen Samuel talk to anyone nor did it seem that he disliked me from my memory but then Drake realized .
Samuel was from a rich family. A family that makes artifacts and different machines. The reason he never bothered Drake was probably because he thought little of him to begin with.
As the class laughed John came up to Drake and shoved him away." Who do think your talking to only the powerful can speak. So Samuel let's win this."
"Sure." Samuel's answer was short but John had a grin on his face. If he could get closer to Samuel he would be set for life.
After everyone chose a team it was only Drake by himself. ' Damn it these dumb kids I bet I can do this by myself anyway!' Drake thought as he stared into the endless trees in front of him.
The reason it was called the Crimson forest was not only because of the hidden dangers lurking within. The other reason was that all the trees had red and glistening leaves. That look Beautiful from a distance but terrifying up close.
Since everyone had a partner Mr.Johnson spoke. "Drake you can either withdraw from the contest or go at it alone but be warned if u stray to far you might run into tier 1 monsters and that goes for the whole class."

The way battle pets and beast were ranked went from tier 0 level 0 to tier 8 from each tier had 10 levels and only one man in history has made it to tier 8 the famous Dragon God is what people called him.
He was said to have 3 tier 8 beast on his team with those beast he was able to either trap or kill the most dangerous of beast. One day he went to the Rainbow Forest to stop a ferocious tier 8 monster. After the battle all that was left was a giant crater.
The Dragon God died that day but he also took down the biggest threat to humanity. So they named three kingdoms after his three pets. The first was Phoenix then Fallen angel , and Frost Giant kingdom. All of which are very powerful kingdoms and I live in Phoenix kingdom.

"There will be teachers watching but they are not able to interfere unless you are in mortal danger." Mr.Johnson said waking Drake from his thoughts.
When Mr.Johnson said that Drake was relieved because with teachers watching that means John's threat earlier that day ment nothing.
With that in mind Drake felt safer going on his own."Alright if someone doesn't want to participate then wait by the bus, everyone else get going you have 2 days after the first no teachers will be there so hurry back if your to scared. Remember this is a contest and the prize I'm sure you will like." Mr.Johnson said.
With that said Drake waited for everyone else to go in before he went a different direction. Drake would rather be by himself away from everyone especially John.
With level 0 strength Drake would have to hunt baby animals.'I can do this I won't beable to get first place but that won't stop me from gathering at least 3 [Energy crystals].' Drake thought to himself.
Walking through the forest Drake realized it was quiet. Only the rustling of the trees can be heard.
While walking Drake sees a blood trail. "Whatever passed through seems to have not gone far." Drake says to him self as he takes his sword out and begins to follow the trail.
While Drake follows the trail he hears a cry. Some animal is crying on the other side of the thick bushes in front of him.
Drake slowly parts the bushes to see what it was. There was a baby deer laying next to a slightly bigger looking. The bigger one seems to be the one Drake has been following.
The deer is missing its whole left leg. " sorry but I have to do this. To get stronger I have to get use to this" Drake tries to comfort himself.
After that Drake charges towards the baby deer as fast as he can. When the baby sees this it becomes alert. It turns out it's not a normal deer it was actually a [Wind Deer].
From birth they can all shoot wind blades. Even though small and a little weak it still does damage.
