The sweet morning air passed by, caressing the blooming flowers with their glorious vivid petals. The flowers trembled, as if shy, and within them, buzzing bees are seen, busy collecting their fragrant and delicious honey.
Within the field of flowers and the shelter of trees stood a big white two storey house.
Inside the house,the first floor contains a big living room, a large kitchen equipped with oven and fridge and an island counter with a spacious dining room. The furniture in there is modern with a touch of simplicity. Out in the front door is a small patio with rocking chairs inlaid with soft cushion.
A spiral staircase was seen protruding from the living room which hides the washing room for laundry and a big bathroom fully equipped with high end flushing toilets, a Jacuzzi ,shower, and many more.
At the end of the stairs, in the second floor are four bedrooms, all of which have bathrooms in them. Between the bedrooms, a small balcony with a hammock can be seen, and from that balcony, the view is unparalleled.
Outside,three hazy mountains covered with trees with leaves and flowers of varying colors are presented , dazzling the eyes of the onlookers. All around are green grasses that swayed with the wind and crystal clear water from the stream and rivers sparkled under the bright light.
The small sea behind the mountains rippled as fishes swam to and from just beneath the surface. Seaweeds floated and was dragged about by the feeling fishes. In the shore, crabs walking sideways chased their companions leisurely as they scuttled on barnacle covered rocks.
The octuposes under the rocks hurriedly hide themselves to wait for prey, and the grainy sanda on the beach was littered with shells.
The plain in sight was crowded with mooing cows, grazing sheeps, and bleating goats. And in the far left, a pond covered with lotus, and dots of ducks and geese feeding in the fishes in the longnd create a lively sight. The air is also filled with the crowing of roosters and clucking of hens as they ushered their noisy chicks and feed them.
The fields are very vibrant and the grains are very abundant.
This sight is pleasing to the eye and relaxes the soul, but at this moment, nobody is appreciating them. Why?
*Bang!*
A sound of a heavy object hitting the ground resounded.
In the martial arts platform laid infront of the white house, a girl was lying with dust hovering about her. The girl have a very fair complexion to the point that her veins are visible in her pale skin.
Her dark long hair that was bound in a ponytail was spread around her beautiful face contorted in pain. Her lithe, youthful body was clad in black tank top and camouflage pants and combat back boots.
"Argh ! "
Groaned Lili as her resentful eyes glared at her smiling father.
Aldrich grinned as he casually shrugged his wide shoulders, stretching his back shirt over his muscled chest as he playfully gestured with his hand, beckoning Lili.
" Liliana, is that all you can do? "
"Hummp!"
Lili snorted in disatisfaction, jumping up to her feet while bending her body. Her body tense as she position in a fighting stance, her fists clenching infront of her as she tried to find an opening in her father's body.
As always, not finding any from the veteran fighter father,she was soon defeated after she initiated an attack, landing once again in her back in the cold hard ground.
"Go Baby, Go Lili, you can do it! Beat your father! "
Felicia cheered from the patio. Same as the father and daughter, she is also dressed on training clothes ,sipping a refreshing glass of water as she shouted and encourage her daughter.
Judgung from her sweat soaked dust covered attire, and her left hand trying to caress her back to relive the pain,it is obvious that she also is a victim of her husband's one sided abuse .
Aldrich laughed in amusement at the anger of his wife and daughter. They had lots of grievance against him.
He is helpless, he is just trying to get them more experience in combat so they can better protect themselves in the future.
"Okay, take a break first, we'll continue later. "Said Aldrich as he looked at the pained face of his daughter.
At his words, a gust of wind flashed by. In an instant, a young beautiful teenage boy wearing the same outfit as Lili appeared, assisting Lili to stand up, holding her hands.
His eyebrows was knitted as his eyes looked worried. He had long wanted to make Lili rests she flinched with pain everytime her back hits the ground. But with the approaching apocalypse, he knows he can't pamper his sister and can only let her be trained harshly by their father for her future safety and well being.
Lili raised her small face to her big brother, coquettishly embracing his left arm as her cherry lips muttured and pouted as she complained to him. Alban caressed her head as he comforted her.
Standing side by side, the two boy and girl can no longer be called little children.
Three years have passed rapidly. Lili now sorts a healthy lithe figure of an eight year girl, her body filled with energy as her pale skin shone with vigor and health nourished with balanced nutritious food and harsh training of her devilish father.
Alban also became very tall, sporting the height of a twelve to thirteen years old youth with him being a ten years old kid. His body is now defined by muscles. His figure is a definition of thin when clothed, and buff when undressed ,his muscles tight and fit.
The training of the family have began to be very harsh. At first, Aldrich is lenient with the girls in training. But with the advent of time and the awareness of the approaching doomsday, he became unrelenting.
Just a month ago, the family have just returned from their trip slash training they regularly conducted from time to time from the dangerous rainforest in the south continent.
They returned to their home to await the apocalypse.
In one month, the End of the World is coming.
