In just a few days, Aldrich managed to buy a hover car which the family of four used to scour the space.
To the Lu family's surprise, it is very big. It has three bare mountains , a vast plain, several acres of fertile lands, a stream that wind around the mountains and snake through the fertile fields.
There is also a small sea behind the mountains the size of about 20 football fields, which all three decided to be the future breeding ground of seawater produce.
They also discovered that the space always remain in daytime and there is no night, even though there is no sun. Also, a drizzle of rain will shower the land in the space from time to time.
In record time, don't know what method Aldrich used,he already have began building a house in Lili's space. He and Felicia already quit their job. They only work so they can feed their little family without touching the money on Aldrich's secret bank account to avoid the potential threats of Aldrich's enemies .
Now Aldrich throw away all scrupulous he had. Big deal is to hide in Lili's space if their enemies decided to find and harm them.
It's not that Aldrich is afraid. But because he had two precious treasures he had to protect, he can only lay low and hide his fangs and claws. He is afraid of gambling away his wife and daughter's safety. He already lost his beloved mother, he can't lost another loved one.
The two parents decided not to continue to work is first, Aldrich have so much money now that it is not necessary anymore.
Second, they want to prepare as much as they can for the apocalypse. Three years is a long time, but if that three years is used with the premise of preparing for the apocalypse, it is way too short. There can't be enough time.
Third, they want to be with each other, with their family, with all the time they had. There can be no assurances that there will be no accidents in the future,especially in the event of the apocalypse .
So now that they still have time and there is no danger, they will cherish every moment of peace and bind together before the apocalypse.
It is a bit pessimistic, but realistic.
Alban was also dragged around by Aldrich to many places, oftentimes not returning until night with Alban's face pale and tired. It is obvious that he had been dragged by his merciless father to gather supplies and put it in his space, so it made him tired because of his use of mental power .
Overtime, Alban got used to it. His mental power progresses and advanced. With his continuous use of mental power, he had greatly benefited. Now,when he returns home, although tired, he is not as pale as from the beggining.
Still,he likes to act like a baby to get his mother and sister to circle and care for him as they always did, much to his father's jealously, which he ignored as he basked in the comfort and care of his mother and sister. Heh, his devil of a father always likes to torture him, so it's only fair that he got his due reward.
Lili's mental power also progresses fast. Because she had to bring in her family, the construction materials and farming equipments and all other equipments needed for her space, plus the plants, animals, and others that they are going to breed in her space farm, she had lots of practice.
In just a few months, with the help of construction robots and agriculture robots, there is already a two storey house build by a high rise ground beside the stream. In front of the house, a wide open platform dedicated for training in martial arts is laid. Around the house, young fruit tree saplings and flowering plants are planted.
Further behind, various small buildings can be seen. Some of them are warehouses for food produce, and some of them are for machines to process crops like rice, wheat and sugarcane and turn them to flour,sugar and many more.
On the other side of the stream, opposite the house, a small plot of land was opened for growing vegetables.
The vast plain, and the soil of the space now had grass growing in them, which was plowed and planted by the agricultural robots. It can be seen that these grasses are planted specifically to be harvested to be fodder for the livestock the Lu family are going to raise .
There are already big cows and bulls, sheeps and goats in the fenced area in the plain to keep them from running around. The fenced area directly covered a third of the plain to keep up with the future growth of the animals' population .
Under a mountain closest to the house, a small pond was dug for the ducks and geese and lotuses. Besides the nest of the ducks and geeses, a chicken coop was also build. The place was already filled with cluckings ,quacks,honks of them. In the future, there will be no problem for shortage of eggs, meat, and milk.
The bare mountains at this time are no longer bare. Fruit trees, wild vegetables, bamboos, and mushrooms are scattered to cover them, and under their feet, bushes of berries are also planted, credit of the agricultural robots.
The fertile fields now have small seedlings of rice, wheat, potatoes, sweet potatoes and other crops. Some lands are still being plowed by the robots.
The small sea now have sea creatures gathered by Father Lu and is how growing up fast with the algaes especially cultivated for them. In a few months, there will be big seafoods waiting to be harvested.
A space was also specially vacated to accommodate a large number of solar panels. Although there is no visible sun , they can still harness the energy of light that keeps the space bright. The energy gathered is more than enough for all the robots and various equipments needed and responsible for the work in the space .
Basically, the Lus can now be self sufficient as they no longer need to buy food. As for clothing, there is a small factory for it and plants for fibers and cotton for clothing are also thriving in one side of the space.
As for other things like energy fuel and everyday necessities,Aldrich and Alban are still gathering them.
Liki got curious as to why her Papa and Big brother had to leave from time to time, and just how many supplies they managed to gather as they always seem to be busy, always leaving her and her Mama in the house.
So with her Big brother's permission, she took a peek at his space. She nearly dislocated her jaw when she saw big containers and tanks and many unidentified packaged objects floating around in the infinite space. She didn't even try to count them as she already felt dizzy.
Goodness, just how much and what had her father and big brother collected?
What the, is that a legion of robots? Are those hover cars? Hover RVs? Yatches? Hover trucks?
What are those equipments? Are those medical apparatuses? Medicines? How many pharmacies have Papa and Big brother emptied?
Woah, I didn't know that a food mountain really exist. Look how they are piled up!
Lili looked at her Big brother with respect. If he did not stop her, she would have gotten into her knees to worship him.
With all those items, Big brother is practically a god for managing to bring all of those in his space! Powerful! Must hug his golden big thigh firmly!
With his sister's worshipful eyes, Alban puff up his chest childishly and smiled proudly, ruffling her hair. It's nice to have a cute and stupid sister!
