The two brother and sister feel a momentary dizziness due to the distortion of the space, closing their eyes at the sudden glare of strong light.
A moment later, the two tentatively open their eyes, widening when they saw the unfamiliar place they are in. Above them is a bright blue sky. What is strange about this sky is that it is so bright without any sun dotted on it, which is puzzling.
Around them are distant mountain peaks hidden within clouds, totalling three. The pair of them are standing upon rich black mud, beside a wide gurgling stream. All around them are barren, with not a trace of plants or animals, which is bit strange because of the presence of water and the fertile ground.
Lili and Alban stagnated, unable to believe their eyes. Where on earth are they? How did they come here inexplicably? The two look at each other. Lili moved closer to Alban, clutching his arms tight to comfort herslef. She felt flustered and fear as she look around her unfamiliar surroundings.
Alban patted her hands as his body went on alert. What just happened caught him off guard. He didn't know why Lili and him got sent to this place, and the bright light that inexplicably appears seconds before they are sent to this place.
Could it be some kind of experiments of some crazy genius scientists? But if it is so,why them? And how did they do it?
"Big brother, where are we? "Questioned Lili hesitantly as she shivered in fear.
"I don't know. But don't be afraid Lili, Big brother will protect you, so stay by my side at all times, okay? We don't have a clue of where we are and if there is any danger here. "
"Yes Big brother, I will." Said Lili as she said even more to Alban.
After that, the two of them decided to look around, not letting go of each other as they walk the vicinity in hopes of finding clues or answers.
They walk walk around for an hour, but could not find anything. All they saw was an endless stretch of land and the unending stream. It was so quiet that except for the rushing stream and their laboured breathing from walking, no sound was heard.
Alban grew worried as Lili grew more afraid. She tried to hold back her tears as she did not want to add to her Big brother's worry. Lili is strong, she sniffled as she thought to herself.
Alban tightened his brows, trying to think and to make sense of their situation.
He stopped by a big rock by the stream, putting Lili on it and climbing up himself. Even though the light here is strong, it just feel warm, not hot. Maybe because of the absence of the sun.
"We'll rest here for a while. We regain our strength first. Maybe we can find the way out of here later. "Alban comforted Lili.
Lili nodded, putting her head In Alban's chest for comfort. Alban stretch his as to encircle Lili, also comforting himself in this way.
Alban mulled over and over their situation, turning the details one by one, not finding anything strange.
Suddenly, a light flashed past his mind. He suddenly turned Lili to face him, asking.
"Lili, you said that you lost your pendant right? And you never get a tattoo, right? "
Lili look strangely at Alban.
